Conducted advanced technology research for potential application into new compa ny businesses. Quality Systems Engineering Two years experience with Quality of spacecraft system hardware assemblies assur ing product quality and effectiveness. I provided an independent, mission-succes s-focused assessment of products measured by identifying & mitigating risks that could compromise success and performance. I helped to implement LEAN and Six Si gma concepts. A major goal was to identify systemic performance issues (anomalie s), propose process improvements, and drive issues to closure. I reviewed major

deviations and waivers, acceptance test results, and all major anomaly condition s. Supported independent evaluation of technical gate reviews (SRR, CDR, TRR, et c.). I supported effective deployment of failure review boards (FRB) with a focu s on root cause analysis and assured that lessons learned were incorporated into program procedures. Investigated failures, including independent reports of roo t cause and corrective actions based on the organizations database tracking syst em. Analyzed, identified, interpreted trends, and managed mission-success metri cs for management review boards. I performed floor audits involving calibration of STE and training for compliance to Command Media. Multi-sensor System (ISR) Engineer: Two years experience Algorithms used for target detection, identification, tracking, discrimination, and dissemination. Algorithms based on random processing under noisy conditions (Kalman Filter) analyzing and synthesizing with legacy data. Documented, improv ed, and maintained a major system performance parameter, lowering the false alar m rate while increasing the probability of detection. I successfully modified al gorithms without adversely affecting adjacent algorithms along the data processi ng topology. Computations and design were made simple for real-time RISC process or implementation. Code testing was accomplished by performing trend analysis on legacy data accessed via classified database and a CRAY supercomputer. Final ap proved product was applied to the real-time embedded system as well as updating the formal Algorithm Description Document (ADD). Every other month, presentatio ns to multi-organizational and senior management teams were conducted to brief a nd propose algorithm changes. Product Specialist: One year experience: Worked involved the development of software tools for the EDA (Electronic Design Automation) industry as a product specialist. Design special Boolean scripts ut ilizing Hercules libraries, which manipulated polygon masks over microprocessor layouts. Performed Boolean operations and converted layouts to hierarchical mult i-layered structures. Designed Hercules run sets for Design Rules Checks (DRC) r equested by our customers (Intel, AMD). Created scripts for advanced software to ols based on Optical Proximity Correction. Avionics Test Engineer: Three years experience: Work involved the development of factory functional test software in C/C++ for a ircraft Cabin Management System (CMS) specific to an Automated Test Station (ATS ). Design For Test (DFT) requirements were created during the early design proce ss. Final test vectors were determined during schematic layout reviews before fi nal capture. I worked on the Cabin Entertainment Multiplexor Controller (EMC) Li ne Replaceable Unit (LRU) which was responsible for the distribution and control of the entertainment content A/V baseband signals via OFDM throughout the cabin . These automated and manual tests were controlled by a programmable magnetic sw itch matrix which was commanded by a Unix & X-Windows Sun Solaris interface. Wir ing Harnesses/Cables were designed along with a PCB interface via a vacuum pulldown system to route signals to ARINC 629 connectors (including I.D. resistors). Within the PCB, EM shielding was designed by adding a ground plane between laye rs. A Wiring Harnesses/Cables was designed to interface with the ATS. A RF calib ration test consisting of coax transmission lines, RF couplers, and standard imp edance loads was evaluated.
