Overview of the role:
Responsible for developing, tracking and guiding the most appropriate method and
sequence of MEP activities in conjunction with the Contract Requirements and Main
Contract Programme in order to ensure the project is completed timely and on budget.
What you will do:
Key Accountability 1: Contract Baseline Programme:
Developing MEP Contract Baseline Programme.
Approved Baseline Schedule with Resource & Cost Loading
Key Accountability 2: Monitoring Progress - Engineering:
Preparing Engineering Registers in-line with the Baseline Programme
Requirements
Monitoring progress of submissions & highlighting variance (if any) to the project
team
Providing look-ahead to the Engineering team
Engineering Dashboards
Engineering Registers
Key Accountability 3: Monitoring Progress - Procurement
Preparing Procurement Register in-line with Baseline Programme Requirements
Monitoring progress of procurement & highlighting variance (if any) to the project
team
Providing look-ahead to the project team
Key Accountability 4: Monitoring & Reporting Progress
Monitoring Work Progress & highlighting variance (if any) to the project team
Updating the Baseline Schedule
Prepare progress reports in accordance with the project requirements
Providing look-ahead to the project team
Procurement Register
Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly Reports
Key Accountability 5: Resource Mobilisation Forecasting & Productivity
Measures
Identifying manpower requirements in-line with the project progress &
programme requirements
Monitoring & tracking the labor productivity
Highlighting manpower requirement/ productivity concerns (if any) to the Site
management
Manpower Projection
Productivity Tracker
Earned Value Analysis
Key Accountability 6: Testing & Commissioning Schedule
Identifying the logic / sequence of commissioning
Developing detailed T&C schedule in-line with the Baseline Programme
Detailed T&C Schedule
Key Accountability 7: Delay Notifications, Delay Analysis & EOT Submissions
Identifying delay events (if any) that impact the programme
Notifying the delays in accordance with the Contract Conditions
Preparing delay analysis impact programmes for the delay events
Assisting Preparation of EOT submissions

Required Skills to be successful:
Job-Specific Skills:
Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Primavera (P6-V6)
Knowledge of Contracts (FIDIC) Preferable
Good Communication & letter writing Skills
Interpersonal skill, ethical values and commitment to continual improvement

Minimum Qualifications , Certification and Knowledge:
BE/ BTech – Mechanical/ Electrical.
Primavera (P6)
Minimum Experience:
4-6 years of experience in Planning of MEP Projects.
