Wireless Matrix Names Vice President of SMB Sales Veteran Software Executive Will Lead Sales Efforts and Strategy For Small to Medium Business Penetration HERNDON, VA (July 6, 2011) Wireless Matrix (TSX: WRX), a leading provider of GPS fleet tracking services, announced today that it has appointed Scott Stone to the position of Vice President of Small-to-Medium Business (SMB) Sales. Stone brings to the company over 20 years of management and leadership experience in B2B and software businesses. He has previously served as vice president of sales and marketing for several application and SaaS service companies, including Aptify, Inc., ARC Solutions and Avaya, Inc. (formerly Lucent Technologies). While at ARC Solutions, he increased revenue by over 300% and new customer contracts by 400% vs. prior year. As president and CEO of Padcom, Inc. he grew the companys customer base by 400% in 30 months. He was most recently the president and founder of the small business consulting firm On-Ramp Associates. In his position with Wireless Matrix, Stone will be responsible for SMB sales, including leading the companys go-to-market strategies for small-to-medium businesses and achieving greater sales penetration into new and existing industries.
