BUILD GUIDE:

1. Print all the parts you need. (At least the base set of files)
WARNING: THIS BLASTER IS ORIGINALLY DESIGNED FOR LEFT
HANDED USERS. FOR RIGHT HANDED USERS, PRINT THE RIGHT
HANDED FILES FOR THE LOWER RECEIVER HALVES.
INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE FLIPPED IF USING THE RIGHT HANDED
FILES, SO THE RIGHT LOWER RECEIVER HALF IN THE
INSTRUCTIONS WILL CORRESPOND TO THE LEFT LOWER
RECEIVER HALF, AND VICE VERSA.

2. Install all heat set inserts into the printed parts as shown:

3. Assemble the lower receiver assembly.

a. Install the solenoid into the right lower receiver half with
the wires facing the trigger guard using 2x M3x8mm
SHCS.

b. Screw the pusher head onto the rod of the solenoid

using the nut included with the solenoid. Make sure it is
tight, or it may loosen and fall off during firing.

8
NSP-1k Build Guide V1

c. Install left and right relay brackets and flasher relay onto
the top holes of the solenoid using 4x M3x6mm SHCS.
The relay’s pins should face up and the PCB down. The
plastic plate on the relay should fit snugly into the
indentations of both brackets.

NOTE: YOU MUST REMOVE THE TOP HOUSING OF THE FLASHER

RELAY FOR THE PART TO FIT. IT WILL MOST LIKELY BE HELD
TOGETHER TO PLASTIC CLIPS. ONLY THE PCB AND ATTACHED
PLASTIC BRACKET IS USED IN THIS BLASTER. SEE PICTURE
BELOW FOR REFERENCE.

9
NSP-1k Build Guide V1

d. Install the rev switch into the right lower receiver half
with the button nub facing towards the front of the
blaster using 2x M2x8mm SHCS.

e. Install the firing switch into the right lower receiver half
using 2x M3x16mm BHCS.

10
NSP-1k Build Guide V1

f. Install trigger return spring into the right lower receiver

half using 1x M2x8mm SHCS. Install the trigger by
hooking the other end of the spring around the post on
the trigger and loosely placing it into its slot. It should
stay in its position loosely.

g. Install the 3-position rocker switch into the

corresponding hole on the right lower receiver half. You
may need to glue this in place if it doesn't fit snugly
enough.

11
NSP-1k Build Guide V1

NOTE: YOU WILL HAVE TO SHORTEN THE LEGS OF THE ROCKER

SWITCH TO ALLOW THE LOWER RECEIVER ASSEMBLY TO
CLOSE.

h. Wire up the switches, relay, solenoid, and MOSFET as

shown in the wiring diagram. Make sure all wires clear
the solenoid in any position of the pusher.

12
NSP-1k Build Guide V1

i. Install the magazine detent into the right lower receiver

half with the compression spring inside of the
indentation of the detent. Make sure the ramp side of
the detent faces down.

NOTE: I RECOMMEND THAT YOU SUPER GLUE THE END OF THE

SPRING ONTO THE MAGAZINE DETENT. OTHERWISE, IT IS VERY
EASY TO HAVE THE SPRING POP OFF AND GO FLYING DURING
ASSEMBLY. IF GLUED TO THE DETENT, IT WILL BE HARDER TO
LOSE.

13
NSP-1k Build Guide V1

j. Install the left lower receiver half onto the right receiver
half by screwing it to the solenoid using 2x M3x8mm
SHCS.

k. Install the grip strengthener onto the bottom of the

pistol grip. Screw it to both lower receiver halves using
4x M3x8mm SHCS.

l. The lower receiver is now finished!

14
NSP-1k Build Guide V1

4. Assemble the flywheel cage.

a. Install the motors into the cage using the 4x motor
screws.

b. Press on the flywheels until there is a 1.5mm gap

between the flywheels and the face of the cage.

NOTE: I RECOMMEND USING A FEELER GAUGE OR THE

INCLUDED 1.5MM THICK SPACING GUIDE. MISMATCHED
FLYWHEEL HEIGHTS WILL COMPROMISE PERFORMANCE AND
ACCURACY.

15
NSP-1k Build Guide V1

c. Wire your motors using the wiring guide. If you want,

you can omit the connector here and solder directly to
the rest of the wiring harness, but I do not recommend
this.

WARNING: IF YOU SOLDER THE WIRES TOO FAR UP THE

MOTOR CONNECTORS, THE FLYWHEEL CAGE ASSEMBLY WILL
NOT BE ABLE TO FIT INTO THE UPPER RECEIVER DURING FINAL
ASSEMBLY!

d. Your flywheel cage is now complete!

16
NSP-1k Build Guide V1

5. Assemble the upper receiver assembly.

a. Install the upper front and upper rear picatinny rails
onto the upper receiver using 4x M3x6mm SHCS.

b. Using super glue, glue the front lower handstop to the

upper receiver.

17
NSP-1k Build Guide V1

c. Install the barrel by aligning the 4 threaded inserts with

the screw holes on the upper receiver. Fasten using 4x
M3x8mm SHCS.

d. Your upper receiver is now complete!

18
NSP-1k Build Guide V1

6. FINAL ASSEMBLY
a. Attach the upper receiver assembly to the lower
receiver, aligning the pivot points and fastening using 2x
M4x16mm BHCS.

b. Attach the electrical connectors of the lower receiver

assembly and flywheel cage assembly together.

19
NSP-1k Build Guide V1

c. Slide the flywheel cage assembly into the rear of the

upper receiver with the motors and flywheels facing
FORWARD and the motors facing UPWARDS. The heat
set inserts should align with the holes in the side of the
receiver. Fasten to the upper receiver assembly using 4x
M3x8mm SHCS.

20
NSP-1k Build Guide V1

d. Using superglue, glue the 12x magnets into the upper

rear picatinny rail, lower receiver, and rear trunnion.
Make sure to match the polarity of the magnets
correctly.

NOTE: TO AID IN MATCHING MAGNETS, I DID 1

CORRESPONDING PAIR AT A TIME AND ALSO MARKED THE
END OF THE MAGNET THAT WAS GOING TO FACE TOWARDS
THE PART WITH SHARPIE.

WARNING: DO NOT MESS THIS UP, OR YOUR REAR TRUNNION

WILL BE HARD TO INSTALL AND WONT FIT NICELY ONTO THE
BLASTER! TAKE YOUR TIME TO CORRECTLY MATCH MAGNET
POLARITIES!

21
NSP-1k Build Guide V1

e. With the front receiver pivoted into the usual position it

is in when firing, slide the rear trunnion onto the blaster.
It should magnetically click into place. Use the 1x M3
thumb screw to secure the rear trunnion to the rest of
the blaster by installing at the rear of the top picatinny
rail.

f. Congrats, you have finished assembling your NSP-1k!
