We are pleased to announce that a

the sister branches of SCR. We are
proud to share that the SCR Public
School team secured the 2nd

Our school came together to honor Swanti, the festival of
lights, celebrated with joy and cultural pride. 🪔✨ Our
students took part by setting up unique stalls, each
representing different aspects of Diwali from traditional art
to tasty treats to History behind this festival.

Their hard work and enthusiasm truly brought the spirit of

Swanti alive.

Along with celebration, they learnt the importance of being

together, Team work and coordination. Dealing with stress
and other day to day activities.

We thank everyone for making our Diwali Fest a huge

School excursions play a crucial role in the holistic
development of students. These trips extend the learning
beyond the confines of the classroom, offering real-world
experiences that enrich their education.
One significant advantage of school excursions is the
opportunity for interactive learning. Students can touch,
feel, and observe what they have studied in textbooks,
enhancing their comprehension.
By keep all these things in our mind SCR school organise an
educational trip to visit SGT University for the students of
Grade 11 & 12.
At SGT, they are providing hands-on experiences and
fostering social connections, this trip contribute
significantly to the overall growth and education of
students.
Visit to National Science Centre

Students from Grades 3 to 5 of SCR Public School recently

visited the National Science Centre as part of an educational
excursion. This trip provided the students with a unique
opportunity to explore various exhibits and learn about
different scientific concepts in a hands-on environment. The
visit not only enhanced their understanding of science but
also sparked their curiosity and interest in the subject.
Students engaged with interactive displays, participated in
demonstrations, and discovered how science plays a vital
role in our everyday lives. Overall, it was an enriching
experience that greatly contributed to their learning.

Balvatika students from our school visited Osho Oxygreens

Nursery. During this visit, they learned about different types
of plants and their unique characteristics. The students
gained insights into how to care for these plants and
understood the importance of nurturing and maintaining
them. This experience enhanced their awareness of the
environment and inspired them to develop a deeper
connection with nature.
Learning Through Experience
Our enthusiastic LKG students
recently embarked on a delightful
and educational visit to Kisan
Mandhi Mart. They had the chance
to observe and identify a wide range
of fruits and vegetables, seeing
firsthand the vibrant colors, shapes,
and textures of fresh produce. This
hands-on experience gave them a
meaningful connection between
classroom concepts and real-life
learning, helping to deepen their
understanding in a fun and
memorable way. Engaging in such
activities sparks curiosity, enriches
knowledge, and nurtures a love for
learning about the world around
them.

Public speaking is useful in every area of life, personal and

professional. It enhances communication skills, boosts self-
confidence, fosters leadership abilities and improves persuasion.

An inter house debate competition had organised for grade 9

and 10 students. The competition aimed to foster critical
thinking, public speaking, and teamwork skills.

Grade 9 and 10 students of all houses showcased their

exceptional oratory skills and intellectual prowess in the recently
concluded inter-house debate competition.

We congratulate all participants on their outstanding

performances.
We are pleased to announce that SCR Public School recently
hosted an insightful workshop on the topic of Emotional
Quotient, facilitated by the esteemed resource person Ms. Ritu
Narang.
This workshop was specifically designed for our teaching staff,
aiming to equip them with essential skills for effectively
controlling and managing their emotions. Understanding and
regulating emotions is crucial, as the behavior of teachers
significantly influences students’ learning experiences and
overall development. Through such workshops, we strive to
impart valuable knowledge and skills to our teachers, which in
turn contributes to the holistic development of our students.

Activities
Craft Activities

At SCR Public School, our students participated in a variety of

engaging activities, embracing the spirit of creativity and
learning. They created unique decorations, including beautifully
painted diyas, colorful paper lanterns, and decorative torans,
which added a festive touch to our school environment.

Through these activities, students not only honed their artistic

skills but also gained a deeper understanding of the cultural
significance of Diwali. Engaging in these creative projects helped
them connect with Diwali's rich traditions while fostering critical
thinking and teamwork skills. As they collaborated and shared
ideas, they developed a sense of community and learned how
such hands-on experiences contribute to their overall growth
and personal development.
Yoga is mind and body practice

Yoga is a discipline that develops self-awareness and self-

control; it is not merely a physical workout. Yoga helps students
build a sense of determination, perseverance, and self-control. It
encourages introspection, self-reflection, and an awareness of
one's own body, mind, and emotions. As a result of this process,
students develop a healthy sense of self-worth and a positive
self-image by learning important lessons about their own
personal progress, limitations, and talents.

flexibility, and mindfulness. Through deep breathing and
relaxation techniques, they learned to manage stress and
enhance focus. This session helped them nurture both physical
and mental well-being, promoting healthy habits for a happier
life.

Interactive Learning

Recitation is one of the most important and effective modes of

learning a language and appreciating a piece of literature. It
helps to build self-confidence, develop oratory skills and self-
expression.It is a pleasing way to express the feelings and
thoughts of a person.It not only helps to furnish a language but
gives us joy and satisfaction also.

To inculcate the habit of enjoying poetry, an Inter Class Poem

recitation competition was organized for the students of Grade 1
and 2 in English and Hindi Language. The students participated
with different poems and recited them with great fondness and
zeal. Students were judged on the parameters like confidence,
voice modulation, memorization and overall presentation.

Handwashing Techniques

On Global Handwashing Day, students of SCR Public School

participated in an interactive activity to raise awareness about
the importance of hand hygiene. The event emphasized the role
of regular handwashing with soap in preventing the spread of
illnesses. Students were guided through correct handwashing
techniques and learned about the crucial impact hygiene has on
health.This initiative aimed to foster lifelong habits of cleanliness,
encouraging students to practice and promote good hygiene.

Special Assembly

Grade 2B students recently presented a

special assembly on the significant
topic of 3Rs Revolution (Reduce, Reuse,
Recycle).With 100% participation,
students actively engaged in various
segments, including prayer, song,
dance, role play, etc.
Through their well-coordinated performances, the
students effectively highlighted the detrimental
impact of plastic on our planet. They also shared
valuable insights on how we can reduce plastic
usage to protect and sustain the Earth for future
generations.
Students of Grade 4C conducted a special assembly where they
highlighted the beauty and importance of the Hindi language.
Through this assembly, they shared how, despite the diverse
cultures, lifestyles, and languages in different states of India, we
remain united as one nation. The students emphasized the
richness of our country’s heritage and how each state contributes
to the uniqueness of India while still fostering a spirit of unity and
togetherness.
