10 mm φ @ bottom and 3 bars of 8 mm φ @ top. The stirrups of 6 mm φ are provided
150 mm c/c. Bearing of lintel is 150 mm. Calculate total quantity of steel reinforcement.
12) Work out quantity of steel for a circular column with following data.
i. Column: diameter – 600 mm,
ii. height = 4500 mm,
iii. main steel: 8 bars - 12mmφ (Tor steel)
iv. Links: 6mm φ (MS steel) @ 125mmc/c
13) A simply supported beam resting on two wall supports of 300mm thick with clear

provided to beam is 30 mm. Calculate total quantity of steel and prepare bar
bending schedule.

15) R.C.C. slab of overall size 5500mm x 3000 mm & thickness 175 mm is provided with
12 mm main bars bent-up alternately and placed at distance 150 mm c/c. The
distribution steel of 8 mm diameter is provided at distance 200 mm c/c. Find out the
quantity of steel, prepare bar bending schedule. Take cover 15 mm
UNIT.NO.4: RATE ANALYSIS
