VI. Introduction to the Module


This course is designed to provide the students with a sound theoretical and applicable knowledge of the basic cartography It is directly related to the
interpretation and reading of any types of map
VII. Aims and objectives:

The main objective of this course unit is providing opportunities to develop the applied knowledge of theories and concepts of geographical studies based
on the cartography. It examines basic cartographic techniques for geospatial analysis and interpretation, and enables students to design basic maps that
communicate information effectively.
