Assignment on A Good Communicator

Before starting talking about my good communicator, first try to understand that what do I understand by the words communicator and communication. Communicator A communicator is a person, who communicate with others. A good communicator is a person, who communicates with others effectively. Communication Different people have given the definition of communication different ways Communication is the process of sharing our ideas, thoughts, feelings, and values with other people and having those ideas, thoughts, feelings and values understood by people we are communicating with. Communication is a two-way process of giving and receiving information through any number of channels. Communication is the process of transferring signals/messages between a

sender and a receiver through various methods (written words, nonverbal cues, spoken words). Communication is successful only when both the sender and the receiver understand the same information. Exchange of Facts, ideas, opinion, emotions for the purpose of inform or persuade. Communication is the process by which we exchange information between individuals or groups of people.

My Favorite Communicator According to my point of view, my favorite communicator is Dr. Zakir Abdul karim Naik popularly known as Dr. Zakir Naik. He is a medical doctor by professional training, Dr. Zakir Naik is renowned as a dynamic international orator on Islam and Comparative Religion. Dr. Zakir Naik clarifies Islamic viewpoints and clears misconceptions about Islam, using the Qur'an, authentic Hadith and other religious Scriptures as a basis, in conjunction with reason, logic and scientific facts. Dr. Zakir is popular for his critical analysis and convincing answers to challenging questions posed by audiences after his public talks

Why do I think Dr Zakir Naik is Good Communicator I have watched many CD, VCD and DVDs of Dr Zakir Naik lectures. At first I watched a DVD of Dr. zakir naik and sri sri Ravi shankar, topic on The concept of God in Hinduism and Islam. Which Took place in Bangalore in front of a jam packed crowd of about 50000, at the Palace Grounds on 21st January 2006, was highly appreciated by people of both the faiths. Dr zakir naik express his expression very clearly and concisely on the concept of god in Hinduism and islam. At the question and answer session getting his convincing answer both religions audiences were pleased. Even a Hindu brother tell to zakir naik that Zakir vai, Today as far as I knew about Hinduism from your 4 hours lecture I did not know it in my 40 years old.

Then I watched a public dialogue with Dr. William Campbell (of USA), on the topic, The Quran and the Bible in the light of Science held in city of Chicago, U.S.A., on April 1, 2000 was a resounding success. at the end of the debate dr William cambel was unable to answer any of the allegations that dr zakir naik raised about the bible. however zakir naik is able to clear all the misconceptions about the Quran. I have seen another video lectures topics on Why West coming to Islam here he clearly shows different logic that Islam provides solutions of all their problems. Thats why the are accepting Islam. He argued that only Islam gave women true equally. he stressed the importance of women head scarf by arguing that the more reveling western dress makes women more susceptible to sexual harassment .according to US Department of justice in the year of 1996 everyday on an average 2713 rapes took place Dr. zakir naik is a person who open challenges to pop benedict for an open inter faith dialogue for his controversial remarks he made about islam. Any person who listens to his question and answer session is going to be

astonished and overwhelmed as he clarifies Islamic view points and clear misconception about Islam, using the Quran and authentic hadith reciting each surah ayath numbers and he has not only learned Quran and hadith by heart but has also learned bibles, tar mud and torah, bogowath geeta and other scriptures and gives very satisfying answer in conjunction with reason, logic and scientific facts. He has learned 100 and 1000 of pages of different books by heart and has the knowledge of scientific and meth metical facts and theories. he is popular for his critical and convincing answer to challenging question. posed by audiences specially non Muslim, after his public lecture.

We know that Effective communication begins with listening. The person who listens effectively will have the ability to respond appropriately so it is un doubted we can say that Dr. zakir naik listening, thinking, Memory, Express ideas clearly in words and spoken language skill is very much strong. He has also the ability to respect other party and win their confidence. So I think that he is one of the best communicator in the world. Finally, I want to finished my assignment giving an example of dr Zakir naik wisedom. This incident happen after the 9/11 incident. Zakir naik go to US los angeles to receive his award from The Islamic International Internet university for service to islam and humanity. When he enter into los angeles airport the custom officer doubt to him for his beard and skullcap and asked him why are you here. Zakir naik tell I come here to receive an award. What, what do you do ? and what kind of award you can get ? Custom officer replies. Dr. Naik say, I spreading truth thats why they are giving me award. Custom officer check him and get a VCD, name Terrism and Jeehad in his hand bag. Do you believe in Jeehad ? asked custom officer. Yes, I believe, Zakir naik says. no no I mean, do you believe in fighting ? zakir naik says yes and started quotes from different religions scriptures. He proved that concept of true jeehad is not only Islamic but universal . Custom officer became curious and started putting more and more question. he continued to reply with his wisdom, knowledge and logic. afterwards custom officers told the were just astonished and they had never seen a person with so much knowledge.
