7. Test the consistency of the system of equations:
𝑥 + 2𝑦 − 𝑧 = 1, 3𝑥 − 2𝑦 + 2𝑧 = 2, 7𝑥 − 2𝑦 + 3𝑧 = 5 and if consistent then solve it
completely.
8. Use the rank method to test the consistency of the system of equations:
𝑥 + 2𝑦 + 𝑧 = 2, 3𝑥 + 𝑦 − 2𝑧 = 1, 4𝑥 − 3𝑦 − 𝑧 = 3, 2𝑥 + 4𝑦 + 2𝑧 = 4 and if consistent then
solve it completely.
9. Show that following equations are consistent and solve them:
I. 𝑥 + 2𝑦 − 𝑧 = 3, 3𝑥 − 𝑦 + 2𝑧 = 1, 2𝑥 − 2𝑦 + 3𝑧 = 2, 𝑥 − 𝑦 + 𝑧 = −1.
II. 𝑥 + 2𝑦 − 5𝑧 = −9, 3𝑥 − 𝑦 + 2𝑧 = 5, 2𝑥 + 3𝑦 − 𝑧 = 3, 4𝑥 − 5𝑦 + 𝑧 = −3
