ACTIVITY OBJECTIVE:

To enable the students to have a compendium of the principles, beliefs and values that architects are
expected to adhere to in the conduct of their personal and professional dealings. This is embodied through PRBOA
Resolution No. 05, series of 2018 known as the Architect’s Credo.

GENERAL DIRECTION:

1. Referred to the Architect’s Credo outline below in accomplishing this asynchronous activity.
2. In a short bond paper, HANDWRITE the whole content of the credo. Be creative as possible in your output.
3. Answer the following question/ instruction:
a. Which among the paragraph of the credo discusses ethical relationship, professional excellence, norm
of conduct, accountability, sharing, legacy, and respect?
b. In three-five (3-5) sentences, give your insights as to why the Architect’s Credo is needed and must be
observe by all architects especially in the present times.

Architect’s Credo

I shall work with this general objective that I am accountable to God, to mother earth,
to my country, to my fellowmen, and to myself.

I shall uphold the ideal and follow the norms and ethical conduct of this noble
profession

I shall pursue moral and professional excellence to the utmost level of integrity
through industrious dedication and meaningful application to my work that merits a
reputation for quality of services worthy of fair remuneration.

I shall pledge myself to the highest standard of professionalism in relation to client,


colleagues, industry partners, and society.

I shall dedicate myself to the pursuit of creative endeavors towards the goal of
enlighten Arts and Science, generously sharing it.
