I am trying to be innovative with simple everyday objects; almost reviving them into a new modern fashion. It could be anything! For example, pillows, fabrics, luggage, kitchen objects, home accessories, outdoor objects, furniture..etc. Be creative, ask yourself what inspires you or what would be so cool to have in your home? Or even ask, what are you tired of seeing and would you rather see? Thank you for your help February 18, 2012 at 10:24 pm As you have listed many options for ideas, apply several ideas to each of those, any new style within a building or location, in itself has a platform or landscape to which you can apply an environment, since placing one or two out of thousands of ideas may be mute, you could extend and accentuate any one idea, there is more freedom technologically to incorporate ideas in moods and trends to set a design in action, if any idea was to be used, it may have been from retro refit, the allowance to reconfigure what is, and be able to implement , may not be allowed due to standards, still ideas are malleable , Waves and curves in designs, extruded or as relief in textures, Retro fitted, everything within room or space, is faded as a polaroid colour value, dulled or aged, Folds, curtailed,pleated in all aspects, pleated steps, pleated coffee mugs, pleated, tables, Color matched, space is tailored to habitat, outdoors: green grass, blue sky, dark waters, Lights and shadows, even though room is bare, the tones have shadows and highlights pre-painted, Textures, of the color used, if chair is green, it has leaf relief pattern, if coffee table is black, it is empty void of space, if bedding is white, it is a wave of sea crested foam, Kisses, everything smothered with lipstick colours, and make-up tones and actually look like giant cosmetic cases as furniture, Abstract, have oddities through space of layer, nothing at first appears coordinated, but gradually everything fits, fashion wise, a hanger or wires of decor, placed in reference to clothing folded or strewn afoot, shoes in design, with fittings opposite of room , or shoe boxes as drawers, strings of jewelry casted upon the ceiling, but actually as chandelier lights, And for each type of room the same abstract applies , garage/car parts, den/ dungeon, kitchen/ utilities, bedroom/ bathtubs, Typography, everything is in the shape of what it is, C chair, T table, R rug, B bookends E, Etiquette ans elegance, all things fine and finite, almost grandeur and breath taking in refinement, ..

Anonymous March 7, 2012 at 1:45 am Bean bags okay for student pads as they were usually in the 70s when we couldnt afford a proper sofa lols Why not go for one of the TUB chairs Quality Save do some cheaper or a shop called B&M in fabric or leather I have tried they are really comfortable and will last a lot longer than the bean bag!
