With issue number 0, launched at the Frankfurt Motorshow, we wanted to give people a sort of special preview, to give you die-hard fans and recent converts alike a glimpse of Abarths world of performance. Now, with this very first official issue, ABARTH WORLD can really begin its editorial adventure. We approach the task with the same thrill and excitement one feels at the start of every journey, but also with the certainty that we have created something that will stir the emotions: a reference point for adrenaline junkies and performance addicts everywhere, packed with information, news and features about the world of Abarth. In this issue Issue Number 1 we feature profiles of the Abarth models that will be making their debut at the thirty-sixth edition of the Bologna Motorshow, we will take a look back at 1958 and the first models tuned by Karl Abarth, we will tell you what has been happening in the world of Abarth over the last few months, reflect on our successes in competition in 2011, and we also give you a taste of what to expect in the coming year in terms of accessories, kits, merchandising and much more besides. An overview of where we have come from, and of where we are heading in the future. We sincerely hope you enjoy reading this very first issue of ABARTH WORLD!

ABARTH NITRO WINTER KIT


Winter means cold, snow and extremely difficult driving conditions. Some people see these conditions as a limit on what they can do, others as a challenge, enabling them to show off their concentration and their skills behind the wheel. For them, Abarth has created the special Abarth Nitro winter kit, containing all the equipment you will need to be able to get through the winter with the maximum performance, and in total safety. The kit has been developed for the Abarth 500 and the Punto, and includes: 16 wheels fitted with Pirelli snow tyres for the Abarth 500, and 17 alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli snow tyres for the Abarth Punto. In addition, to underline the distinctive freeride mentality that sets apart both Abarth and Nitro, the brands partner since 2010, the kit also includes a magnetic snowboard-holder for cars, a snowboard from the Nitro powered by Abarth line, and an Action Camera, so that you can record all of your most adrenaline-fuelled moments at the wheel of your Abarth and your best snowboarding moves.

HOLLAND: Success all the way at the main event for the Dutch market in 2011 Italy in Zandvoort - both in terms of the number of participants, which this year reached 40,000 (almost double the 25,000 participants at last years event), and for the intensity and variety of initiatives proposed. The event offered the perfect opportunity to present the world of Abarth in a prestigious setting: heritage, with some of its most beautiful vintage models on display; technological innovation, with new products and new models; and the enthusiasm of fans, who were able to take to the track in their cars.

FRANCE: 2011 was a year on the move for Abarth in France. First and foremost, there was the wonderful Abarth Tour: a thrilling, adrenalinfilled journey over several legs through 16 of the countrys most important cities, giving Abarths French fans and potential future owners the chance to try out for themselves all of the cars in the range obviously accompanied by experienced professional drivers. And just to add a touch of competition, the Abarth Academy selected 20 aspiring drivers for each stage, and named an outright winner at the end of the Tour (the jury was chaired by Margot Lafitte, daughter of the great Formula 1 driver and friend of Abarth), who will have the honour of racing in an Abarth 500 Rally in the next Giraglia Rally, in Corsica.

ABARTH AND ITALIA INDEPENDENT CELEBRATE 150 YEARS OF THE UNIFICATION OF ITALY
Special Tribute to Abarth by Italia Independent is the name of the exclusive new model of sunglasses that embodies all the style, creativity and innovation of Made in Italy. A wonderful example of the creativity of the company co-founded by Lapo Elkan, the model was created to celebrate the world of Abarth and the recent launch of the Abarth 500 Cabrio Italia. The first 300 pairs will be available exclusively from Abarth: 150 pairs (with Azzurro 150 frames and dark blue lenses) will be presented to buyers of the special Limited Edition version of the Abarth 500 Cabrio Italia; while the other 150 pairs will be available to buy online from the official Abarth e-shop. SOUTH AFRICA: After Europe, Abarth is ready to conquer the world. The expansion of the Abarth network beyond the continent of Europe began in South Africa in great style, with the official launch at the recent International Motorshow in Johannesburg. At this prestigious event held from 6 to 16 October with over 230,000 visitors Abarth made an immediate impression with two of

its top-of-the-range models: the small yet wicked Abarth 500 and the exclusive 695 Tributo Ferrari. Fans of empowerment were also able to admire the famous esseesse Tuning Kit. Abarth models will officially go on sale to the public in January 2012.

An excellent final placing, incredible support throughout Italy, and lots of chances to meet fans and enthusiasts of all ages. This would be the best way to sum up Abarths participation in the Giro dItalia Automobilistico, the legendary sporting event launched 110 years ago and revamped this year to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy. As we said, Abarth achieved an excellent final placing, thanks to splendid performances by Michele Tassone, Arturo Merzario, Jimmy Ghione and Fabio Grimaldi, who drove their Abarth 500 Assetto Corse to 5th place overall: quite an achievement, especially when you consider the strength of their adversaries, most of whom were driving Gran Turismo models. PORTUGAL: Abarth has been very busy in Portugal, both on the racetrack and on the road. In the Mortagua Rally 2011, the penultimate race in the Portuguese Rally Championship, the Abarth 500 and Punto Evo opened the stage. In Oporto, meanwhile, a new dealership has been opened, confirming the strong tradition of motorsport in the north of the country. And finally, Abarth was also a sponsor at the prestigious Belas Camp Club golf tournament 2011, where participants practiced their swing and their skills behind the wheel of several Abarth models.

NEW FUNCTIONS FOR THE ABARTH 24H APP


Plucky, technological and super-accessorised. The new Abarth 24h app perfectly symbolises our philosophy and the increasingly direct and interactive relationship we are trying to establish with fans of the brand. In addition to the Abarth Community a very handy tool for keeping up to date with official brand events, and already available with the first version the Abarth 24h mobile app now offers virtual racers a wide range of utilities (and not just social ones): Your Profile: your details and your cars details, always just a click away. Find your car: your Abarth is unmistakable, but should you not remember where you left it, this useful function could come in handy. Deadlines: keeps track of things so that you can just enjoy the drive. Find a dealer: where is your nearest Abarth dealer? Use and Maintenance Manual: all the information you need about your car, in electronic format. Contact us: the Abarth Customer Service department, always on hand. News and Promotions: keep up-to-date with all the latest offers. Roadside assistance: you call and help arrives in the blink of an eye. The response from the public was also impressive, with an enthusiastic reception for each of the various stages of the Giro, and huge turnouts at the rich programme of events prepared by the Abarth team all over Italy. Abarth on the Road this was the name given to the event organised to run in parallel with the Giro proved to be a travelling party, where fans (and the simply curious) were given the chance to experience the magic of a close encounter with the world of racing through driving simulations, interactive activities and much more besides. One thing that particularly caught the publics attention was the Abarth Interactive Car, a special Abarth 500 Convertible that followed the entire route and stopped in each of the different cities. On board, five bloggers took turns to make live blog entries about the event, using the main social networks and including photos, interviews with drivers and Abarth fans. The Abarth Interactive Car also acted as a free WIFI point, with iPads and MacBooks connected to the net, allowing fans to post comments and share their impressions and emotions.

The Abarth 24h app is available in Italian, English, French, and German, in all countries where Abarth is present. And naturally it can be downloaded for free from the App Store.

AT THE START IT WAS ONLY AN IDEA BOUNCING AROUND INSIDE THE HEAD KARL ABARTH: TO TRANSFORM NORMAL CARS INTO TINY RACING CARS. IN 1949, THAT IDEA BECAME A REALITY, AND IN THE YEARS THAT FOLLOWED BECAME A LEGEND. THE LEGEN OF ABARTH, TOLD THROUGH THE HISTORY OF OUR TRANSFORMATIONS.

595 A TINY RACING CAR

We continue our journey of discovery through the history of Abarth, its achievements, its records, the cars that have made history and, above all, the people involved. In the last issue (number 0) we profiled Karl Abarth, the companys founder, and the inspiration behind many of the legendary activities associated with the Scorpion. In this issue, we focus on those very activities, on the early strokes of genius that, from 1949 onwards, enabled a young, practically unknown Austrian driver to become the focal point for the entire world of Italian racing. The thing that made him truly unique was his ability to make the world of motor racing accessible to everyone. For the first time, a world of champions and fast cars, speed and adrenaline that had hitherto only been admired from afar took to the streets to allow everyone experience the thrill of racing. One of his greatest ideas was his decision to work on normal production cars, often with small engines, and giving them that touch of aggression that made them special. The expression SMALL BUT WICKED became the emblem of the Abarth philosophy and

the motif behind the incredible commercial success of the 1950s. The 1950s also saw the company begin to consolidate its relationship with Fiat, a highly profitable partnership that enabled the Austrian engineer, over the following decades, to work on practically every model produced by the Turin-based company, creating cars that were truly incredible in terms of power, technical specifications and personality. One of these cars, and the most famous Fiatderived model, is without doubt the 595, the wicked sister of the 500 and a quintessential example of Karl Abarths work ethic. The Fiat car was launched on the market in 1957, but sales were far from encouraging: an excessively high price, together with a range of equipment that was far from exciting, prevented the little car from selling in numbers that would have made it a successful model. The same thing had already happened with the very first Abarth Derivation model, despite the increase in power (from 13 to 21.5 bhp) and a series of other technical and structural modifications that made the car considerably more sporting that its sister model from Fiat.

Abarth was not put off by this apparent lack of success. In fact, the very next year, he rolled up his sleeves and did everything he could to break the impasse. So he decided to play the record-breaking card, a solution that in the past had enabled him to win the trust and heart of fans. Just think of the fabulous achievements of 1956 in Monza, when the Fiat Abarth 750 managed to smash every record standing and set new standards in the 24-hour, 48-hour and 72hour categories, and over 5,000 km, 10,000 km and 5,000 miles. So, in 1958, Abarth once again put the capabilities of his 500 Derivation to the test on the Monza track. He was proved right yet again: for an entire week, his creation raced around the circuit day and night, and showed that it had nothing to fear from its rivals in terms of speed, durability, and mechanical strength. This incredible performance stood as proof of the validity of Abarths first experiment on the Fiat 500 and paved the way for the official birth of the 595, the first fully-fledged derivation of the little Fiat model. The 595 didnt appear until September 1963, when it was launched in grand style at the Turin Motorshow, and earned the instant admiration of experts and public alike. The extremely competitive price and 100% sporting trim made it extremely popular with customers, who found that it enabled them to experience the unique thrill (and clearly superior performance) of a racing car without having to spend a fortune. For its time, the car was extremely aggressive both in terms of the type of vehicle and its technical specifications: an engine capacity of 595 cc, power output increased from 22 to 27 bhp, a top speed raised from 95 to 120 km/h, and a series of modifications such as the adoption of cylinders forged in a single body from a special cast iron, the introduction of a new carburettor (the Solex C 28 PBJ), a new camshaft, oil pump and sump, and a typical Abarth exhaust.

In other words, the car was nothing short of revolutionary! This also went for the cars appearance: Karl realised immediately that to give greater value to this little gem of a car, then performance alone would not be enough. It would also need an innovative, strong and recognisable look. This led to the design and introduction of several very interesting aesthetic solutions, such as the arrow radiator grilles, the scorpion logos and symbols on the sides, and the twin exhaust. All this made the 595 a genuine status symbol, sought after even by those without any sporting ambition, but simply looking for a car that was aggressive, agile and fast. At this stage, anybody else would have stopped to enjoy the success they had achieved (around 250 models produced every month was no mean feat). But not Karl Abarth he raised his sights even higher. And so, in 1964, barely a year after the introduction of the 595, two new derivations were launched, characterized by varying tuning levels: The 595 esseesse, or supersport, with horsepower increased from 27 to 32, and capable of reaching a top speed of 130 km/h. The 595 34, which took its name from its new carburettor (the Solex 34PBIC), and could call on an extra 5 horsepower (bringing the total power to 37 horsepower). The two new models also shared a series of technical changes designed to make them even more aggressive and wicked: aluminium-magnesium alloy wheels by Amadori&Campagnolo, various solutions for making the final connection to the axle, a combined instrument panel featuring a speedometer, rev counter, oil temperature and pressure gauge, and an aerodynamic roof made of plastic. Simply monstrous!

Racing has always been a part of Abarths DNA: thats why next year, once again, the Scorpion will be taking to the track many times. From the now classic Abarth 500 Trophies with new stages in Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg to the Formula ACI- CSAI and Formula Abarth European Series championships, single-seater championships that are enjoying continued success both in Italy and abroad, to the much-anticipated second edition of the contest for budding drivers - MAKE IT YOUR RACE. RACING IS OUR PASSION, THE RACETRACK IS OUR NATURAL HABITAT. IN THIS COLUMN WE TALK ABOUT RACING AND GOINGS ON DOWN ON THE TRACK, ABOUT THE OFFICIAL ABARTH COMPETITIONS, ABOUT RACING IN GENERAL AND THE WORLD OF COMPETITION.

All the ingredients for a successful racing season: determined drivers hungry for victory; a pit crew that can handle any situation, with a unique, priceless level of professionalism; and incredible cars that can deliver high performance in any situation and on any circuit. With all these qualities, Abarths 2011 season couldnt have been anything other than a success. 2011 was an especially successful year for our younger drivers, a category that Abarth has always invested a lot of time and effort in. The mono-brand championships finally gave the most talented youngsters the chance to shine and make a name for themselves, in a scenario as complex as the professional scene. This is the case, for example, of Michele Tassone, the nineteen year old form Peveragno (CN) and the revelation of the 2011 season. This young driver took the overall classification and the Under 25 title in the Abarth 500 Selenia Rally Trophy, which this year had an International flavour, with a race calendar that included races in Switzerland and France. Michele was able to make the most of being given the opportunity to race without spending a fortune, and without a doubt he demonstrated that he has all the qualities of a great driver: speed, skill, technique and a good deal of humility. His career may have just started, but the results are already impressive: in 2011 alone, in addition to his success in the Abarth 500 Selenia RallyTrophy, he also came out on top in the Super Corso Federale CSAI Rally and was the official Abarth driver in the Giro dItalia Automobilistico, in which he was in a battle for a top-three finish, and he also showed his talent with impressive times in special stages. In other words, his was a season to remember! Elsewhere, also noteworthy was the performance of a youngster, Eric Scalvini, winner in the Under 18 category both in Italy and Europe. His success has earned him a major prize: he made his debut in Franciacorta at the wheel of a Formula Aci/Csai-Abarth in a test session specially for talented young drivers. And finally, we must mention two other young drivers who have made a name for themselves this season: Alex Campani, who won the Abarth 500 Selenia Europe Trophy; and Nicola Baldan, who repeated the form shown in 2010, and with it claimed a second successive success in the Abarth 500 Selenia Italia Trophy. As mono-brand championship winners, Campani and Baldan were also able to take part in the world finals of the Ferrari Challenge, contested on the Mugello circuit, and both drivers claimed podium finishes at the Challenge Italia F430 race: Baldan in Race 1 and Campani in Race 2. The two drivers were able to put their experience with the Abarth 500 Assetto Corse to good use, showing that they were more than capable of handling a high-performance car like the Ferrari 430 Challenge, a small saloon with a 4307 cc, 8-cylinder V engine and a power output of 490 bhp. Young scorpions may be growing up, but the older ones can still sting!

They had a dream to compete in a real race, on a real racetrack and their dream came true: it came true for 20 lucky Abarth fans who, thanks to the MAKE IT YOUR RACE contest, were given the opportunity to get behind the wheel of an Abarth 500 Assetto Corse and take part in two of the most important stages of the Abarth 500 Selenia Trophy. The contest, organised by Abarth and the Gazzetta dello Sport, got under way in June, when more than 3500 people answered a questionnaire on safe driving during the Race Days at Varano de Melegari. Since then, the competition has been fierce: the 3500 original entries were whittled down to 70; then, after a Safe Driving course and an advanced Racing Driving course, they were further reduced to only 20. Only the most deserving, the most tenacious, the best, remained: these were the ones who earned heir ACI-CSAI drivers licence and, with it, the chance to drive Abarth racing models in Monza and Mugello. Dont be fooled by their young ages (all aged between 20 and 35) and their apparent lack of experience. These young drivers accepted the challenge, drew on all their passion, and gave their all on the track, with results that demand respect. Naturally, nerves played a crucial role, especially at the start, during free practice, but the Magnificent 20 were able to overcome them and learned to compete like warriors. Between overtaking, tail-spins, breakaways, sudden acceleration and improvised braking, their performance improved from race to race and, in some cases, even saw them compete with the professional drivers who race in the Abarth Trophy all year long. And when they crossed the finish line, they exploded with joy: they were so happy to have completed the race, to have shown their worth, to have lived such a unique, special experience. They extend their thanks to the technical staff first and foremost Gordon De Adamich (director of the Abarth Driving Academy) and eagerly talk about their experience of the competition that has just ended. We took part in a real race, where we were able to overtake not just the other beginners, but even the professional drivers competing in the Trophy said Alberto Porta, who finished 11th out of 21 competitors in Monza. I realised that there is also a physical side to it: at the end I was tired, but I couldnt resist trying to overtake said Flavio Donnarumma, talking about the many incidents during the race. All in all, the contest was a success from every point of view. The Magnificent 20 led the way, and others are sure to follow in the future, in other races, on other tracks, behind the wheel of other cars. That much is guaranteed, because the MAKE IT YOUR RACE contest does not end with the 2011 edition, with another contest already planned for 2012. Will next years lucky drivers be able to do better than this years pioneers? The gauntlet has been thrown down.

BOLOGNA MOTORSHOW
THE MOTORSHOW SEES THE RETURN OF THE FIRST MODELS TO BE GIVEN THE ABARTH TREATMENT: THE 595 AND 695. THEY WILL BE JOINED BY THE ELEGANT CHARM AND TOTAL BLACK STYLING OF THE NEW PUNTO ABARTH. HERE WE HAVE ALL THE LATEST ABARTH NEWS FROM THE BOLOGNA MOTORSHOW.

Designed for the racetrack, the Abarth 695 Assetto Corse carries on the tradition of the historic 695, which began with the 695 Tributo Ferrari, and was followed this year by the 695 competizione, Abarths first street legal racing car, which made its debut at the Frankfurt International Motorshow in September 2011. The car displays a distinctly sporting character, with an aggressive front carrying the badge with the Abarth logo, while underneath, the widened bumper features an aerodynamic

spoiler and screen-printed grilles replacing the plastic surrounds on the production models. Under the bonnet, fitted with the classic racing style bonnet hooks, the 1368 cc turbocharged engine delivers an incredible 205 horsepower. Meanwhile, the rear of the car features a spoiler and badge with the Abarth logo. The 17 light alloy racing wheels are fitted with new perforated, floating, self-ventilating brake discs at the front, with perforated disc brakes at the rear, and a new brake regulator for better race performance and safety. The most

important new feature of this new version, however, is the Sadev sequential gearbox, with specific gear ratios, that together with a metal-ceramic dual-disc clutch, enables the car to achieve record-breaking levels of performance for its category. On the inside, the Abarth 695 Assetto Corse is fitted with a roll-bar homologated for competition, welded to the bodyshell and optimized to improve the cars front torsional stiffness. To make it even lighter the car weighs

around 30kg less than the Abarth 500 Assetto Corse the doors have been lightened by using lexan for the side windows. The anatomic seat and racing steering wheel also give the Abarth 695 Assetto Corse the characteristics of a true sports car, small and plucky, just like the 500 Assetto Corse, which has been so successful in the singlebrand trophies over the last three years.

The Bologna Motorshow sees the world premiere of the new Abarth 595, which marks the return of the concept of derivation from basic models, first applied over 60 years ago by Karl Abarth. The car has two different trim levels turismo and competizione dedicated to two different types of target. Lets start with the turismo version: a model aimed at all those who love sportiness and performance, but who at the same time do not want to go without a certain degree of elegance and distinctiveness behind the wheel. The 595 turismo is fitted with a 1.4 Turbo T-Jet engine that can deliver an impressive

160 bhp (118KW) and a torque of 230 Nm at 3000 rpm in Sport mode. The engine is a 1368 cc, 4-cylinder, 16-valve unit (fixed geometry IHI turbocharger) with thrilling performance: a top speed of 211 km/h, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.4 seconds. Credit for this also goes to the over boost function, activated by the Sport button, which alters the control unit mapping, turbo pressure, and the load on the steering wheel. The performance is just what you would expert of an Abarth, while fuel consumption is kept to a minimum: just 6.5 l/100 km in the combined cycle. The Abarth 595 turismo comes fitted as standard with the electro-mechanical

Competizione gearbox with steering wheel controls, which gets the very best from the engine with faster gearshifts. The gearshift paddles are positioned on the leather sports steering wheel with red, perforated wings, embellishing the interior along with the red leather seats. The attention to detail that has gone into this version of the Abarth 595 is also underlined by the special flock finish used for the central tunnel and dashboard, and by the pedals and kick-plate in Alutex aluminium-plated glass fibre. In terms of safety, the Abarth 595 delivers the same high standards offered by the Abarth

500 range, and comes with TTC (Torque Transfer Control) as standard, for better transfer of engine torque to the wheels and improved road-holding, while still being just as much fun to drive. In terms of looks, Abarth has decided to use several trend-setting elements that have already appeared on another highly successful model, the Abarth 500 Convertible, first and foremost the use of a bi-colour livery. The car sports an Officina Red and metallic Pista Grey livery with a white liner, along with grey Tributo Ferrari 17 wheels.

The competizione version of the 595 is dedicated to those looking for more extreme sporting performance, to Racing purists, and features elements designed to maximise its sporting performance and characteristics. The incredible performance of the turismo version is still there, but now it comes in conjunction with a 5-speed manual gearbox, which adapts to the drivers own personal driving style and offers a more direct feel of the car. The metallic Record Grey livery is complemented by Esseesse design 17 alloy wheels with yellow Brembo brake callipers. The cars sporting credentials are further enhanced by the Record Monza four-outlet exhaust, which uses dual mode technology

to optimise torque delivery and power output with faster engine response at mid-range engine speeds (1.5 kg/m starting from 2000 rpm). The car also has a decidedly sporty feel on the inside, too, with Abarth Corsa by Sabelt seats in tan leather with carbon-fibre seatbacks. These seats combine the best qualities of sport seats with the ergonomics and comfort of normal seats for road use. The dashboard is embellished by the use of special materials that, in terms of appearance and finish, evoke the metal of the springs and brake discs, further accentuating the technical and sporty character of this version. Lastly, the car features a carbon fibre gear lever knob, and the aluminium kick-plates and

pedals currently used on race cars. To get even better performance from the Abarth 595, two special kits Trim and Braking System - are available, designed to guarantee a unique driving experience in terms of performance, handling and safety. Safety always comes first for Abarth, and with these two kits the braking system is strengthened and the suspension setup modified accordingly: the Braking System kit mounts perforated, self-ventilating front disc brakes (diameter 284mm x 22mm), perforated rear disc brakes (diameter 240mm x 11mm), and high-performance brake pads front and rear, while the Trim kit offers Koni shock absorbers with FSD valve front and rear and

specific red springs that are lower than those mounted originally. Lastly, as an indication of the tremendous scope for customisation offered by the Abarth 595, and following the success of the Limited Edition Abarth 500 Cabrio Italia, we also have a set of Tribute to Abarth travel cases in Tramontano leather (also in turismo and competizione versions), designed to match the interior colour of the two versions.

ABARTH PUNTO SCORPIONE


Adrenaline, the love of a challenge, the constant quest for speed and performance, whether it is on the track or on a downhill ski run. These are the elements that prompted Abarth and Nitro to join forces in a partnership whose first creation was the Nitro powered by Abarth snowboard. Now, once again drawing inspiration from the same shared values, Abarth is delighted to present a new Limited Edition, the new Abarth Punto Scorpione, with a production run limited to only 99 units, featuring a Scorpione Black bi-colour livery embellished with a special matt paint for the bonnet and roof. The cars exterior also features a special black gloss graphic, with an idealised take on the Nitro Powered by Abarth snowboard design, achieved by applying a special painting process at the Abarth&C. workshops, to create a genuinely tailor made finish. On the inside, the Abarth Punto Scorpione features Abarth Corsa by Sabelt seats in black fabric with red and yellow stitching and gloss black seatbacks, homologated and lightened to reflect the cars sporting character. The interior also features aluminium kick-plates laser etched with a special graphic, stainless steel pedals with the Abarth shield, a leather steering wheel with the same red and yellow stitching as the seats, and a sports instrument panel designed by Jaeger. Equipped with a 1.4 Multiair engine delivering 180 bhp (132KW) at 5750 rpm and a peak torque of 270 Nm at 2500 rpm, the Abarth Punto Scorpione can reach a top speed of over 216 km/h and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.5 seconds. To help achieve this incredible performance, changes were also made to the cars suspension setup and safety systems, such as the adoption of floating, perforated and self-ventilating front disc brakes with oversize, 4-piston, yellow brake callipers, perforated disc brakes at the rear, high-performance front brake pads, Koni shock absorbers front and rear with FSD valve (Frequency Selective Dumping) and specific lowered springs. There is also the special exhaust pipe, widened in the central section, taken from the Esseesse kit. Also available with this new Limited Edition is the Abarth Nitro winter kit, dedicated to speed-demons and the wildest snowboarders, to all those who love the mountains, with magical snow-covered slopes, cliffs and fresh snow. The Abarth Nitro winter kit consists of 17 alloy wheels fitted with snow tyres, a magnetic snowboard-holder for cars and a Nitro powered by Abarth snowboard. The pack also includes an Action Camera, for immortalising all your thrills and spills behind the wheel and your best snowboarding moves.
