Post Laboratory Re~


The format for the Post Laboratory Report should be as follows: a. Neatly typed b. On one side of the paper only; white (8.5 X 11) paper

2. The outline for a typical laboratory report is as follows: a. Your name, date, lab partner(s) name(s)-in top left corner b. Title of lab-centered at top of first page c. Objective-clearly identify the problem under investigation as accurately and completely as possible from background information. Identify the problem(s) that the activity is seeking to address. d. Introduction/Background Information-obtained from books, texts, - 1;1,1') ;~ ~1 I So. periodicals, and other sources. Requirements & Procedures -Lab Reports

1. Any violation of safety procedures will result in a grade of "0" for all aspects of the lab. Socialization should be kept to a minimum, as time allowed for the lab is limited. You will receive only one warning before your grade is penalized. 2. Collaboration in science is encouraged, however, the written assignments are to be completed by you and you alone. Any violation of this will result in a "0" for the assignment. Cite all references used properly. 3. You will be assessed with the attached rubric. Be sure to review the rubric prior to submitting the lab report to ensure that you obtain all of the points. 4. All lab reports must be printed out PRIOR to arriving in class. If you have a problem printing the night before it is due, be sure to get to the library BEFORE class to print it out. You will not be given a pass during class to visit the library.
