This was a newspaper article about factory owners taking a minimum hour law to court. They thought it was unconstitutional. The owners thought the workers have freedom to choose how long they want to work. This helped me understand what peoples reactions were to the law and what they thought of it.

This was an article about the National Consumers League wanting a minimum wage of 65 cent. This helped me understand what Florence Kelley helped the league do and the reform of the Fair Labor Act. It also helped me understand what the National Consumers League did to keep improving working conditions even after laws were passed.

This is a book written by Josephine Goldmark. She was a co-worker with Florence Kelley at the National Consumers League. This was a useful source on finding the work Kelley did at the league and how she reformed Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 for minimum wage and age requirement in factories.

This is a newspaper article about Florence Kelley and a doctor speaking about the rights for workers. She spoke about this in Chicago when she was working at the Hull House. This newspaper helped me understand what the revolution was about and how Florence Kelley thought of it.

I learned through this article what Florence Kelley did at the Hull House before she was Factory Inspector. I learned Alzina Parsons was Florence Kelleys assistant when she was a Factory Inspector.
