The two-fluid model proposed by Gorter and Casimir [10] is commonly used for a
realistic description of the HTS
surface impedance [5, 6]. In accordance with this model, the components of the
conductivity can be written as

VII. Conclusions
In summary, the research and direction of superconductors has proved invaluable to
multiple technological fields. From these developments, there have been new forms of
transportation, better components for computing and communication unimproved
diagnostic tools have arisen. The applications of high temperature superconductors are
far wider than those topics covered, and are not limited to any known number of uses
today. As the manufacturing and production of high temperature superconductors
improves each field benefits in multiple ways. The end and goal has been that the value
of such research is realized and the further development of these devices is pursued.
Although much advancement has been made in the area of high temperature
superconductors, there is much room for improvement. In conclusion, the incentive for
superconductors lies in application, but the original initiative must exist in the research
field.
