Sun Bergeron is a joint venture between Southern Waste Systems/Sun Recycling and Bergeron Environmental & Recycling.

Bergeron Environmental & Recycling was founded by J.R. Bergeron, along with Lonnie Bergeron, its The founders of Southern Waste Systems and its affiliate company, Sun Recycling, Anthony Lomangino and Charles Gusmano, have more than 35 years experience in the waste and recycling industry. They have been pioneers and innovators of processes and technology that have advanced the collection, recycling and disposal of residential and commercial waste in the United States. Through Sun Recycling, SWS is one of the largest and most accomplished recyclers in the state of Florida and has won several awards for its leadership in recycling processes that preserve Floridas natural resources. The more than 450 employees that represent the SWS companies are dedicated to the environment and currently recycle up to 93% of the materials they process.
