What is the foundation that we are building on?

Pistis=> greek word for Faith, Credence; moral conviction (of religious truth, or the truthfulness of God or a religious teacher), especially reliance upon Christ for salvation; abstractly, constancy in such profession; by extension, the system of religious (Gospel) truth itself -- assurance, belief, believe, faith, fidelity. What do we believe? -we believe that Jesus was and is the Son of God -He was God in the flesh on the earth, 100% Divine and 100% Man -We believe that He was crucified for nothing that He had done, but for the divine purpose of God, to take the penalty of death for mankind because of sin. And that death reconciled all believers to God. -we believe that He died and God raised Him up on the third day with all power, giving us the victory of Sin, sickness, death and disease, and that He is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God -we believe that He is coming back again! How many believe that today? Who are you? Who does God say you are? 1peter 2:9-11, but ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, and holy nation , a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praised of him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light: 10) which in times past were not a people, but are now the people of God; which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. 11)dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshy lusts, which war against the soul. Who are you?we do not belong here, this is not our home, heavenly places are our home, God spoke us out of Himself to be and gave us a clay body and placed us here for His purpose,:

-we are Kingdom Residents - children of the King - Joint heir with Christ - Sons of God ***So whatever Christ has access to in the heavens, we have access to as well. Lets Go to Acts chapter 1 verse 1-8 (Living Bible) Jesus told them they would receive power! from the Holy ghost, to testify about Him with great effect, To the ends of the earth. What Kind of Power did they receive from the Holy ghost? What is power? Power=> Websters says, Potency, might , authority, control, vigor dunamai=> greek for force (literally or figuratively); specially, miraculous power (usually by implication, a miracle itself) -- ability, abundance, meaning, might(-ily, -y, -y deed), (worker of) miracle(-s), power, strength, violence, mighty (wonderful) work. Dunamis=> is the manifestation of Gods power through Miracles, mighty works and mighty deeds. (example of word in action) Luke 6:19, All the multitude sought to touch him, for power came out from him and healed them all. what Kind of Power did they receive from the Holy Ghost? Exesti=> Authority, liberty, Jurisdiction, power Exousia=> Freedom of action, right to act, used of God. it is absolute, unrestricted authority, used of men, delegated authority.(example of word in action). Matt. 28:18, I have been given all authority in heaven and earth. 19)Therefore go and make disciples in all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20) and then teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you; and be sure of this- that I am with you always, even to the end of the world. Jesus cam to do a work on this earth, one part of the work was finished when He went to the cross, the work of redemption, but another part He left us in charge of doing as his disciples, his Apostles, his prophets, his evangelist, his pastors, and his teachers, and that was the great commission. How can we do this work without power? we cant but we

have been walking around seemingly unaware of the duties or commands that we have set in front of us because we are not walking in our power! This same power given unto the Apostles and the disciples, because we are Sons of God, joint heir with Christ, residents of the kingdom, is the same power that was given unto us, all believers, through the same spirit. For the work of the ministry! Jesus said in: Matt. 9:37, The harvest is truly plenteous, but the laborers are few. And then we see in Matthew 10:1 The Activiation of the Apostles where He is endowing them with Exousia. He gave them specific instructions and power over specific things in the diabolical realms. Power over: 1. unclean spirits, to cast them out 2. to heal all kinds of sickness and disease share Testimony of God healing from a cyst on ovaries, 2003 Jesus took the guilt and curse of sin and gave us physical healing and victory over death! do you believe that today! You have the power within you by faith, to do miracles as will by God. Gen. 1:26-28 (image and likeness of God, dominion over the earth realm) Gen. 3:15 (spirit of warfare place on the inside, enemity between the between the seed of woman and satans seed, and victory over the ememy through Jesus the Christ) All we have to do is walk in it by faith! Jesus tell us in John 14:12-13, verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do, because I go to the father. Its about sharing the gospel of Christ, saving souls, healing the sick, raising the dead, casting out devils, If you love him and serve him, believe in Him than there should be some signs! Jesus goes on to say in verse 13, whatever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the father may be glorified in the son.

If we are the salt of the earth, than just like we use salt to cure meat, we should be curing the sick and tenderizing the hearts of the people towards God. Matt. 5: 13 If we are the Light of the world, then we are to be the light of truth in the dark places in peoples lives that they may receive deliverance. Matt. 5:14 share the testimony of Aunt being delivered from depression & oppression, October, 2005 In John 14:16-17 Jesus tells the disciples, I am going to pray to the father, to send you a comforter/ helper, the Spirit of Truth. He says to them you know Him because he dwells with you and WILL BE IN YOU! Jesus said listen I have given you the Exousia but I am leaving and there is still work to be done, and in order for you to perform it, You going to need help, so I will pray that the father will send you the Holy Spirit to endow you with the power, Dunamis, to do the work of the ministry. THE AUTHORITY AND COMMISSION OF JESUS IS UNLIMITED, BUT WE MUST BE IN RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD TO USE THIS POWER OF THE KINGDOM! John 3:5- Read (living bible) You must be born of water(baptism) and Spirit(filled with the Holy Ghost) lets go back to Acts 1:4-5 The promise of the Filling of the Holy Spirit Acts 1:8 but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. After they had gone back to the upper room and waited there for about 2 weeks as instructed by Jesus, the bible says: Acts 2:2-4 The Holy Spirit give us what? Weapons of Ware fare: 2 Cor. 10:4-6 Spiritual gifts: 1 Cor. 12:4-11 Ministry Gifts: 1 Cor. 12:28-30 all for the edifying of the body of Christ , to build up, to encourage, strengthen, to unify. The goal of the Holy Spirit is to bring about wholeness in Jesus and harmony with other believers.

Through the Holy Spirit you have the ability to speak life or death in to a situation, heal the sick, cast of demons, raise the dead. when we tap into the supernatural power of God, we see miracles. share Testimony of God healing sister from Cancer, September 2009 your faith is what will activate the Heavens to move! Luke 5:20, speaks of the paralytic man, on his sick bed, being let down through the roof, where Jesus was teaching, and because of the faith of his friends, he told the paralytic, Man your sins are forgiven you. Listen the world is hungry for this supernatural God that we preach about, that we talk bout, they want an experience with Him! We are his hands and feet, his mouth pieces, we cant just talk about his power and how awesome he is and not have something to show for it, there must be a manifestation of his glory in our lives. How can we truly win souls to God if our faith is dry and life less. Miracles are activated through prayer and faith! God performs miracles because:

they perform prophecy miracles make believers miracles make unbelievers (Sadducees & Pharisees) Miracles reveal Gods will Miracles conform the fruit of the Gospel demonstrate Gods power over satans power miracles set apart true believers from false miracles show Gods love, care and compassion for people miracles prove God answers prayers miracles prove jesus was and Is Gods only son miracles bring salvation Miracles bring glory, honor and praise to God
