Dakshin Chitra is symbolic of the traditional South Indian state. The

large granary provides some useful insights of the Indian past. There is
a potter’s house featuring the age old craft, weaver’s house that elicits
the knowledge about the Kanchipuram crafts, Brahmin house packed
with religious arts and crafts, thatch huts, stone horses and elephants
and more. At Dakshin Chitra one comes to experience the Indian way of
