II. RATIONALE
On the basis of the records released by the professional Regulation Commission (PRC),
La Carlota City College got par below the Board Exam for Criminologist National Passing
Percentage. On the recent of the PRC report, the College of Criminology got 19% passing rate
versus the 31. 34% passing rate in the national level. With these, under the mandate of the
College of Criminology, the College will assist the graduating students to undergo a rigid Board
Review Classes in order to raise the passing percentage of the graduates who will take the
board examination. Senior graduating students will also be assisted by familiarizing them the
instructions as well as the manner of answering the board examination. Moreover, graduating
students who will take the board examination will be assisted on the procedure and how to
analyze the problems presented before them.
This program attempts to offer a Review Class that will enable graduating students to be
confident and prepare themselves properly to take the exam. This Program Design is to cater
only to 50% of the Senior Graduating Students, as the remaining 50% will be catered during the
2nd semester of SY 2024-2025.
III. OBJECTIVES
This Criminology Board Review Program (IST Batch) is to be implemented in order to
raise the passing percentage of Criminology students who will be taking the Board Exam. This
program will be able to:
1. Provide board review classes of all subjects/areas offered in the board examination;
2. Provide review materials for the reviewees;
3. Conduct rigid review and mock board examinations in the 41 Saturdays & Sundays, and
weekdays (320 hours) from August 24, 2024 to January 5, 2025;
4. Provide expert resource speakers on the subject/ areas of the Board Exam.
