ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

We would like to take this beloved opportunity to first thank

the Almighty God for granting us courage, hard work,
determination and success in coming up with this project, a
way of increasing supply of water I'm our country. Our
deepest gratitude we extend it to our supervisor, Mr. Ondego
Abraham who guided us on how to arrange the display boards
and making final touches on the project. Also, our school lab
technician, Mr. Mutembei who guided us on the available
resources in our school. Lastly, in a special way we thank the
school administration for funding us with the resources to
make our project a success.

Abstract
This project proposes the development of a solar-powered
water pumping system designed to extract water from a
borehole, supplying it to nearby households and a rice farm.
The system aims to provide a reliable and sustainable water
source, enhancing domestic water access and agricultural
productivity. By utilizing renewable solar energy, the project
seeks to reduce dependence on fossil fuels, thereby decreasing
greenhouse gas emissions and contributing to climate change
mitigation. The initiative is expected to improve community
health and economic well-being while promoting
environmental sustainability.
