3. DRIVING QUESTION How can we increase awareness about corruption and the risk it represent to
the country?

4. IN-DEPTH INQUIRY & - Subproduct 1: 3 cases about corruption in Colombia:


CHOICE Students are asked to bring 3 news cases about corruption in
the country and abroad, then they will share them with the rest
of the classroom. - Teacher and students will think on a
reflection about the severity of this problem.

- Subproduct 2: Writing draft and poster (Session 1): The


teacher presents some subtopics about corruption for students
to make groups and decide the topic to work on. Then, students
will look for information and start writing the draft. (Session
2) Students bring the draft to class, receive feedback about
their writing, make the corrections for the poster, and start
designing it. (Session 3) Students bring the poster ready to
present it around the school in X grades.
SUBTOPICS: Characteristics of corruption and corrupt people - consequences
of corruption - corruption rates in colombia - cases in Colombia

- Subproduct 3: Group discussion about corruption: The group


is going to prepare a discussion in which students talk about
the idea of how to fight against corruption and to provide
specific arguments and activities that may contribute. -
REFLECT UPON THE COMMUNITY, AND HOW CAN
COMMUNITY BE CORRUPT
- FINAL PRODUCT: Comic “Hero against corruption” The
group is going to design and create a comic about a hero that
fights against corruption. Students need to create a name, a
power, a villain, and a story in which the hero and villain are
involved. The most creative comics will be posted around the
school. It will be an extra session in which all the comics will
be read.
