1.3 Billion Wishes
2012 13 His Honorable Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche is eighty years old in 2012 and it is our greatest blessings to have Rinpoche a healthy long life. Without the masters careful attention and cultivation, we could still be trapped in worries. Since the masters kindness and merits are far beyond bounds, we are always feeling grateful. As we know, long-time merits must be accumulated to achieve Buddhahood, and there is nothing more outstanding and succeeding than offering blessings to the master. Thus, Thrangu Vajrayana Buddhist Center (Hong Kong) has planned an activity named 1.3 billion wishes which gathers all earnest disciples around the world to recite 1.3 billion times of Vajrasattva Hundred-Syllable. The purpose of this activity is to offer Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche blessings as a birthday present and wish him a long and healthy living with our greatest respect.
