Photo Editor The Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles has always had a wide variety of exhibitions to showcase either the work of a particular artist or the collective pieces of a style. These showcases range thematically from politically inspired art to a collection of abstract art. This diverse range is found in both the current exhibitions as well the exhibitions the museum can anticipate. On November 11, Sony will be releasing a unique headmounted display known as the HMZ-T1 Personal 3D Viewer. A prototype of this device was rst introduced in Las Vegas at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show, back in January. The HMZ-T1 is a sleek, personal headset that enables the user to experience an immersive cinematic display. Sony has cleverly designed this headset so that the horizontal viewing angle rests at 45 degrees, leaving users to feel as if they are sitting 20 meters away from a 750-inch movie screen. The HMZ-T1 comes with two 0.7-inch Organic Light Emitting Diode screens that are able to be adjusted to the users eyes in order to provide a high denition picture. The OLED panels also allow for a fast response time which enables videos to play smoothly.

The device comes with a screen for each eye that works together to produce a threedimensional effect. Users will be captivated by the 5.1-surround sound coming from the built-in headphone speakers with four audio modes available. These include game, standard, music, and cinema. The HMZ-T1 will also be able to connect with other devices such as televisions or Blu-ray Disc players. The processor unit comes with two sockets for high-denition multimedia interface output and input. In addition to all these amazing features, Sony also came out with ear and eye piece adjustments available for comfort. The HMZ-T1 will, without a doubt, be a favorite of many.
