The music label continues to play a key role in the music chain along with the mobile operator, the aggregator, live music creators and talent managers, but Do it Yourself is also catching on for the creative music artiste. Social media and emerging technologies such as 3G and 4G are expected to increase their impact on the consumption of music by the end user.
