[Opens on a boat on a swamp] Girl: No..no. Like this. Youre the one whos supposed to know how to do this kinda stuff. Boy: Whats that supposed to mean? Ive never rowed a boat in my life. Girl: You make it obvious. Boy: Oh please! [A frog jumps in the boat and frightens them; they yell] Girl: dumb frog! Boy: Haha. Creature :{ distant yelps} Girl: Did you hear that. Boy: So it wasnt just me? Girl what was it? Boy: I dont know. Its probably nothing. Girl: Im deeply in love with you. Boy: I also love me. Girl: you love me to, right? Boy: Of course, baby. Creature: {yelps again} Boy: {looks around} umm. Girl: Its getting pretty dark out. Whats the time? Boy :{ pulls out phone} its 8:29. Lets get back to the others. [They start to row to shore when bubbles come from the water]

Boy: keep going. Girl: we arent going anywhere because youre not rowing right! Boy: Okay. Were not in a hurry, because nothings wrong. They wont leave without us. Girl: I know but that noise is Creature: {more yelps} Girl {Contd}: Oh my god, hurry up! Boy: Okay, okay! [A claw of the creature cuts a hole in the bottom of the boat.] Girl: ah!!! Boy: No! [The boat sinks and their left swimming] Girl: I cant swim!! Boy: Ive got you. [They continue to swim to shore] Girl: Somthins got me! Boy: hold on to me. Girl: Ahhh. [Girl is pulled under] Boy: Becca! Woah!! Girl: Trevor!! Boy: Becca? Becca!? Woah! [Boy is pulled under]

The swamp creatures

(Opens on principles office door) Principle (voice): What is this, Vinny? Vinny (voice): I honestly dont know where Principle (voice): How does it manage to get in between the crevasse of your legs and you not know how it got there. Dont play that card, you wont, and I mean will not win. Vinny (voice): Im not tryin to win. Im tryin to tell you I dont know where that bag came from, or how it got in there. Principle (voice): Do you think drugs are okay? Because heres reality. DRUGS KILL PROPLE!! Okay? We lost your mother because of them. {Silence} well.. you had possession so thats 3 days detention, and I dont ever want to see you in this office again. Ill see you at home, after you trip. Youre lucky im not taking this trip of yours away. Vinny: yea.. Well I gotta go. I dont want to be late. Principle: detention, son. Vinny: yeah, yeah. [Bell rings suddenly] Carter: its only three days. And its Friday, one day before we leave today and then 2 days next week, with the trip this weekend witch will would have been a blast but we dont have weed now so. Vinny: we dont need weed. Carter: What?! Lily: anyway. Carter: if theres no weed, Im out. Vinny: cant you steal some from you mom.

Carter: whats that supposed to mean? Vinny: Nothing, just saying, she does have some. Carter: yeah, Ill call you if I decide to steal illegal drugs from my mom. Vinny: later dude. Lily: see ya. Carter: later guys. Lily: you should make him do that kind of stuff. He was a good guy till he met you. So was Declan. And ya know, so was Vanessa! Vinny: Ill get you one day. (Laughs) Lily: Im only coming because carter is. And if he gets caught by his mom, Im blaming you. Vinny: so be it. Lily: Gimme a ride home? Vinny: Sure. [Lily rides in Vinnys van, they talk.] Vinny: radios broke. Sorry. Lily: so were driving 10 miles just to sit here with no music? Vinny: well, it works. But the volume dial is stuck at the highest. Too loud. Lily: oh.. Fix it. Just a suggestion. Not a good one or anything. Just throwing out ideas. But just what are we going to talk about for 2 hours. Vinny: I dont know, stuff? Lily: Yeah well, I know I wont Vinny :{ slams on brakes} Lily: whoa!

[Later that night in Vanessas room] Carter: so what are you up to. Vanessa: watching amc horror marathon. The cabin in the woods is on. Not that piece of trash remake. The good one Carter: thats a good one. Vanessa: The birds is on next, then the premiere of gator. With Hally berry and Chris brown. I hope he gives her a good beating. Look how Rihanna turned out. Shes great! Carter: Wow. You like scary movies huh? Vanessa: yea. Carter: could you survive one? Vanessa: sure. Carter: so, its me and your mom in a room, you can see us. Were both dangled over a wood chipper? And you have a choice to save one of us. Vanessa: are you serious. Saw. Garbage, too easy. Carter: what??!Mmk. ghostface calls you and your in a hallway. He says he sees you. Theirs a gun up stairs and a knife in your kitchen, then the front and back door.

Vanessa: oh a challenge. Well not the stairs. Thats rule one. Front door is locked, would take too much time. Back door and the kitchen takes me back passed the closet hes likely in. im screwed, to the living room and out the window. Carter: I would be on drugs before I take a dive out my window into a thorn bush. Speaking of drugs, Vinny go the drugs stolen! Vanessa: what?! How? Wait! So no drugs. Carter: thats what Im coming to slow down. Now he wants me to steal some from my mom because the principle caught him. Vanessa: Ha. Your mom has drugs?! Why in the hell Carter: Thats why im calling, should I do it? Vanessa: Umm. Yeah, or I aint comin. Carter: I know. I wanna do it, but I only have 22 minutes to do it and I dont know how. Vanessa: where are they? Carter: Hang on, I got another call. Vanessa: who? {Is cut off} Carter: hello? Tucker: Hey, Why exactly happened today With Vinny. Vanessa told me he lost the drugs, but I dont trust her after Declans party last year. Carter: shes right. Now he wants me to steal drugs from my mom. Tucker: are you going to?? Carter: thats what I was about to do. Ill see ya tonight. Tucker: wait. The main reason I called was because theres a bad storm comin in and I didnt know if we were still gunna go. Carter: yea, were all still going. I gotta go.

Tucker: Ill see ya then. Cater: okay, Im back. Vanessa: Who was it? Carter: It was tuck. He called about a bad storm comin in. Vanessa: Oh a storm and a swamp. Could this be a horror movie? Teens with drugs in a swamp during a stormwellwhatever. Anyway, get her out and get those drugs so this can be a good weekend. We already have to put up with Ms. Goody two shoes, and I want to be high while she blabs away. Carter: fine. Stay on the phone Ill come back when I got em. [Carter goes down to his moms room quietly, as he opens the drawer; his mom awakes out of shot and Screams loudly. Then fall dead back into sleep.] Carter: oh shit. [Grabs drugs and runs up stairs and gets back on the phone.] Carter: OH MY GOD. Vanessa: What happened? Do you have drugs??! Carter: Yea, she woke up and yelled at me, but shes drunk and I dont think shell remember. Ill see ya then bye. {About a half hour later, at the car.} Carter: [on the phone with his mom] Mom, I didnt even know you had drugs. Vanessa: [chuckles to group] she remembered. Declan: Did I miss something, I thought you had some. Vinny: I did, but dean caught me. So I had carter here steal some from his dear old mommy.

Lily: yeah, and he got caught. Vanessa: were not even on the trip yet and your already shooting out you words of wisdom. Can we go now? Vinny: yeah. Hey, wrap it up. [To carter] Carter: yes mom.. I love you to. [Hangs up phone and throws it in a group of puddles by the car] she was going to check in on us every hour. Vinny: Good man. [Pats him on shoulder] Tucker: hey. This storm is supposed to be bad. Worst yet this year. Vinny: a little rain wont hurt anyone. Suck it up and lets go. {Everyone but Vinny asleep and they just pulled in to a gas station.} Vinny: Hey! Get up. Yous go in and get 20$in gas and drinks and stuff. [They go in and are looking around] Lily :{ to Vanessa} can you get the gas? Vanessa: what do I look like, a moo cow? Get it yourself. Declan: dont listen to her. I dont know you all that well but you seem nice. Here, Ill get it. Lily: Thanks a lot. You seem nice yourself. Declan: dont we have math together. Lily: yeah I sit directly behind you. Declan: oh. I never realized. Youre so quiet. Lily: yeah, not if you get to know me though. Im pretty normal. Declan: Yeah. Ill get the Lily: yeah, this place gives me chills. {Declan approaches the clerk, Joyce.}

Joyce: one paper and a pack of Newports. Hey. You know what I just noticed. You guys smell like farm animals. Dirty ones. Take your shit and have a nice day now. Customer1: Excuse me. Customer2: [jaw drops and they look at customer 1] youre a crazy bitch!! Declan: [laughs to self-] hey, can I get$20 bucks on the pump with the only car out there Miss Joyce, or joy, if I may. Joyce: [Slams hand down] Are you hitting on me boy, because if you are you struck out at this ball game. And if you havent heard and insist on calling me joy, you should know im not so joyful. Declan: can I just get the gas. Joyce: can I know where yalls are going? Declan: If you must know, were going to the golden crest swamps to dig up some gold. Can I get the gas, were in sort of a hurry. Joyce: I wouldnt be in such a hurry to go if I were you. Youre about the fourth or fifth group of kids to come through here in the last two weeks. Declan: Really? Joyce: And only one of those groups came back through here. And it wasnt pretty, they were two short. Ill give you your gas. Scott-free. If you stop here on the way back. Declan: are you serious about the people. Joyce: do you want the gas or not kid! Declan: yeah, yeah. Joyce: Heave my warning. Those swamps arent a place for drug doing, gold digging, sex having high schoolers. Theyll get ya. Ill give you the 20$ bucks back on your way back through. You smell nice. Declan: thanks.?.? Lily: what was that about?? Declan: she told me that some kids went missing in this place where were going. Lily: I knew this was a bad idea. Declan: chill, that lady is so crazy. She gave the gas for free. If we make it back through here. And she said I smell nice. Crazy Lily: oh great, so we might die but at least our gas was free. Vanessa: hey!! Get your asses in the van so we can go. Declan: yeah were coming!! We arent going to die, please. Hurry up. [Later when they arrive at city limits, they turn off on to a dirt road] Vanessa: are you sure this is right. Declan: well no and yes. No, because we went left, and yes, because thats what the map says. Vanessa: oh ha-ha. Declan: Oh shit. {Swerves van} Vanessa: what in the hell is your deal! Declan: That gas station lady told me were the fourth group of kids to come through here this week. Vanessa: so. Declan: only one group came back. And they lost 2 of the people. Vanessa: so you almost took us off the road to tell me this?? Declan: No, look. {Turns on high beams}

Vanessa: Oh shit. A bus. Umm just keep going. We shouldnt worry about anything. Lets just listen to the radio. {Radio blares loudly and is shut off quickly} ohhh! Vinny :{ waking up} are you serious?? {Falls back asleep} Vanessa: sorry. [A long while down the road, the van makes a clunky pop sound and comes to a halt.] Vinny: [waking up] what. What was that? What did you do to the van? Vanessa: Nothing, were just out of gas. We got 20, right lily. Lily: well, Declan got the gas for free if we went back there on Monday. Vinny: you idiot. She probably didnt even give us 20$ Declan: well, we have been driving for a while. We probably did run out. Help me push it to the side of the road and we can sleep for a while. Tucker: great, now were gunna be stuck in this storm without a car. Vanessa: enough about that fricken storm. [The group pushes while lily walks alongside the wheel to steer it.] Carter: were not all going to be able to sleep in there. Vanessa: thats why I think we should take the tent and we can sleep there. Carter: Fine with me. If youre not scared. It is pretty dark. Vanessa: Nah I gots you. Tucker: have fun in the rain, and the dark {jumps in van} [Carter and Vanessa do some weed then go to sleep] Carter: Hello?

Caller: Turn back. Get out. Leave. Go. Run. They see you. Their coming. Tell them. Their hungry this time of night. I warned you. {Beep} Carter: [stares at the phone in terror] Vanessa.. Vanessa get up. Some creepy chick. What the hell Vanessa: what are you talking about? Go to sleep please. Did you smoke more of that weed. Carter: No, I swear. Some lady called your phone and said that something is coming and that it sees me. [Carter returns to sleep. Then next morning.] Lily: {awakening, looks around and sees Declan is gone} Hey. Hey wheres Declan. Guys! Vinny: {awakening} I dont know. [They leave the van and meet with carter and Vanessa]

Tucker: Declan is gone. Carter: hes right there. Vinny: whered you go? Declan: took a piss. Wanna know everything I do or you makin a scrapbook or somthin. Vinny: No, lily woke up and said you were gone. And were in the middle of nowhere. Not exactly the place to be running off without telling anyone. Especially when someone talks about a storm that didnt come. Tucker: sorry. And we have the whole weekend for it to come through. Declan: youre right. That lady at the gas station told me that people go missing here a lot. Were the 4th or 5th group of people to come through here in the last week,

Vanessa: Carter, you got a call last night. About things watching us. Carter: yea, she told me to leave and turn back and warns you guys that they are hungry at night. Lily: umm.. What things? What the hell. Carter: I dont know. Its probably a prank. Lily: and if its not. Vinny: okay. I think its time to leave. Vanessa: but what about the gold. Declan: I say we get some gold, and start walking back to the gas station because theres no way were finding gas out here. Lily: Look!! A car, back there. We must have past it in the dark last night. Mabey we can cypher some gas from it. Vanessa: Look whos useful. Lily: hey. Declan: Ummgood thinking lily. Vanessa, why are you so mean to her. She did nothing to you. But lets not fight right now. Were in a bit of a pickle and this is not the time to fall apart. Vanessa: Stickin up for your girly friend, what did I say to be mean? I just told her how useful she is.? Lily: [sighs] [They proceed to the car] Vinny: oh my eww. Carter: Is that. Vanessa: thats a fuckin person!! Eww thats.{gags} Tucker: what the hell!

Lily: something is really wrong here. That reeks! Vanessa: Or maybe hes ripped to shreds and dead! [Declans phone rings] Declan: hello? Caller :{ loud screaming} ;{ silence} {more screams} [Declan hangs up] Vinny: What was that? Declan :{ goes to van and sits down} were leaving. Now. Lily: what are we going to do?! Vanessa:[hyperventalating] Were gunna die. Oh my god. We need to get out of here. [Vanessas, Declans, Tuckers, and Lilys phone rings.] Tucker: hello?? Caller: {hissing} Vanessa: im not answering. [Her phone picks up] Caller: how dare you. Youre first {Loudly} Vanessa :{ sobs} ohhhgod!! Declan: dont answer! Lily: im turning it off. Declan: gimme your phones! [Declan throws the phones off into the swamp water] Vinny: No! My keychain! The car keys!

Creatures :{ screaming and howling} Vinny: run to the van! Lily: What is that thing?!! [One of the creatures comes out from behind the trees] ALL :{ screams; gives look of disgust} [Vinny is the first to the van and it is locked and the keys were inside it.] Vinny: Its locked. Go to the car!!!! Vanessa: What?!? Shit! [The creature goes for Vanessa but she jumps out of its path into tucker, knocking him down. all continue running but tucker scrambles for the underside of the van. The creature then swings back around and grabs Vinny and takes him over the river bank and under the water] Declan: Vinny!!!! [Everyone gets in to the car] Vanessa: oh my god. What the hell was this thing!! It it just took him. {Face in hands} Declan: I dont think its the time to be tripin out. Lily: Tripin out, that gargoyle swap thing just took our friend. Vanessa: wheres Tucker? Declan :{ looks out back window} hes under the van! Carter: Tucker, Run. We dont see it. Tucker: no!!! Itll get me! Lily: tucker, hurry up. Before it come back out!

[Tucker gets out from under it, and begins running toward the car. Suddenly the creature throws Vinnys half eaten corpse on to him. He pushes it off and continues running while the creature flies after him. As he gets through the window, the creature grabs his leg and begins pulling, while the group tries to pull him in. They pull him in as he loses his shoes to the creature.] Carter: Can we stop yelling. Hes safe and were fine. Im pretty fuckin scared for my life right now. I think we all should be. Vanessa :{ screams loudly} Declan: what the hell. Creatures: {screams and shrieks loudly} Declan: Shhhhh!!!{puts hand on Vanessas mouth.}Get down. {Whispers} [Everyone gets down. A creature comes up out of the water and stumbles and waddles around the car, and stops at the open trunk. The creature is silent for a few moments. Then all of a sudden, the creature rips through the back seat and flies around the interior of the car as Vanessa and lily shriek. Declan and Tucker holds it down as carter stabs it to its death with a cross necklace around the neck of the dead corpse.] Vanessa and lily: {screaming and scrambling out of the back seat were the two corpses are lying} Carter: {breathing heavily} we need to get the fuck out of here. Declan: I second that. Carter: wait {Tries to start the car} Yes! [The car starts to smoke and overheat] Declan: hurry, get out! Vanessa: is it going to blow up? Declan: lets find out away from the car.

[Declan slowly gets out of the car and helps the others out being as quiet as possible they go to the van to take shelter behind.] Vanessa: {whispers} where should we go. Tucker: back the way we came. [The car explodes] All: {scream} Vanessa: {Faints} Carter: I think it would be best if we just head toward that gas station we were at earlier. Declan: thats really our only option. I mean we dont know what were up against here, and were probably out numbered. Get her up. {As their all walking down the long dirt road it starts to rain hard and get dark. They come across a small mine shaft on the side of the road. They stayed there for the night.] Tucker: told you. Carter :{ hitting Tucker} Shut up Tucker :{ grunts} Ow! Declan: well stay here till the storm blows over. Lily: why not just stay here over night. Carter: but were exposed. Theres no door to keep them out. Lily: then lets go a little deeper in. It might lead somewhere out of the swamp. Vanessa: but what if there are more of those things in here. Declan: then we run back out. Lets go. [They all venture inward the mine.]

Carter: look. The gold tunnels. Theres millions of dollars worth of gold here! Vanessa: oh my god! [Runs for gold] Declan: Wait do you think being rich is going to get us out alive. I dont think we should be entirely happy about this right now. That thing, and heaven forbid there are more of them, could kill us. I think we should get to sleep. [They exchange looks and lie down. Then hours later Vanessa wakes up and sees a creature sniffing Declan.] Vanessa: OH my god, Declan! Get up! Its one of those... [Everyone wakes up and Declan pushes the creature into the gold pile. Vanessa throws a large rock at it. Then the creature charges at her. Lily then intervenes and slams it with a pick axe. Carter pushes it in to a mine cart and pushes it down lower into the mine shaft]

Declan: We need to get out of here. Lily: Lets get out of here. Vanessa: Theres More at the entry way. Carter: we have to go farther in and find another way out. [They find a little corridor with a steal door to keep the creatures out] Carter: whats up with the random door? Lily: When the miners found this place, they used it for sealing of the gold for themselves. Tucker: Whoa! Did you feel that temp rise? Vanessa: its a hot spring! Lily: we can shower!

[They all get in the water and chill in the spring for a while] Carter: I think we should go now. Lily: Yeah. {Gets ready to leave along with everyone but tucker} Tucker: Ill stay here while you guys find a better way out. Creature: {Shrieks, Busts through steal door} Declan: Tucker, come on! Tucker: Wait my clothes! Vanessa: forget them, come on! [They run down the slope and in to one of the smaller tunnels. They come to a latter that leads outside. It was still pouring down rain. The latter was slippery and the ground was mushy.] Vanessa :{ panicking} hurry, their coming [Declan went up first. Then lily, then carter and Tucker. Then as Vanessa goes up see slips off the later and get drown in the water and mud. Carter come back down and helps her up the latter, as carter goes up, a creature grabs the latter and starts to rip the latter from the wall.] Declan: hurry up guys. The water is rising up the river bank. [Carter gets up the latter in time. As they go down the road they see a bus off to a fork dead end that they passed earlier] Vanessa: Look, get in that bus. [As they run toward the bus, lily trips and is drug away by the creature] Carter: lily!!! Declan: Ill get her, get that bus open Lily: Let go get off of me [Lily kicks the creature. The creature hits back]

Lily: {screams} Declan! Declan: {Punches the creature and grabs lily from its claw} Come on! [The creature charges back at him, knocking them down. Declan wrestles it to the ground and tells lily to run} Lily: No, lets go, theres more coming! [Declan kills it and runs to the bus with lily while being chased by other creatures.]

Lily: hurry: there coming back. Declan: the door only opens from the inside! Vanessa: Here! Declan and carter: No! [Vanessa opens the emergency door; Startling alarm] Declan: get in!! Tucker :{ Steps on piece of glass and falls} Help! [Carter tries to pull him in] Tucker: {screams in pain as he is bitten by It.] just let me go! Carter No! {kicks creature off of him and pull tucker in. He was bit in the thigh. His glasses were lost in the struggle, and he blacks out} [They get in and shut the door. They go a long time without saying anything.]

Vanessa: do you think were gunna come out alive?

Lily: I truly dont know. I think we should not think about it. Vanessa: What is there to think about then lily? Huh? What ugly clothes youre going to put on tomorrow? Lily: Youre going to make jokes about my clothes now, at a time like this!!? Vanessa: sorry, I forgot about the situation we were in because I dont think we should think about it. Lily: Ya know what Vanessa? Vanessa: what, what bitch? I eat girls like you! Lily: Oh, you eat girls Vanessa: No. Gross. I meant Lily: its okay, I get it. Vanessa :{ lunges toward lily} you bitch!! Carter: Hey!![Holds her back and sits her down] Umm.. I dont know if its the right time but, I have this weed still. And theres nothing else to do. Declan: light me up. Lily: even though I dont smoke, I think that is the attitude we should have. Positive. Vanessa: mmm [Minuets later] Vanessa: Tucker. Hahahahaha. Hehehe. Tucker: whats so funny? Vanessa: You have no cloths. {High laugh} [They all sleep it off.] Vanessa :{ wakes up. gasps} Declan. Carter. Tucker. Wake up. Look outside. Keep low.

[The all wakeup and look out the windows. It is the brink of dawn and there are creatures flying and walking around everywhere. Not a hundred, but a lot] Lily: what do we do now? Declan: I think we should still be quiet and keep on the floor. Carter: I say we use the gas in this rig to get the hell out of here. Declan: I thought that. But in think theres too many. We wouldnt stand a chance in this piece of junk bus. Lily: I say we do it. We have better odds of dying by sitting here. Let die trying. [Lily gets behind the wheel of the bus and turns it on. The noise startled the creatures, but lily and the group waited a minuet before pulling anything. Just so, lily put it in drive, did an 180 turn and floored it back toward the main road. But quickly, the creatures followed them took them off the road in less than two minutes. They got about a mile and a half down the road. They could see the main road, but it was far off. The bus was ran off the embankment and laid in a shallow pool of muddy water.] Tucker: {screaming in pain} help me. Ow. Ah.

Declan: {whispering.} Their still here Tucker, I know it hurts but ya gotta stay quiet. What hurts? Tucker: my leg. Vanessa: Hun, its gunna is alright. Shit. Here Use my sleeve to my sweater to tie off the cut. [Vanessa rips the sleeve of her sweatshirt and used it as a tourniquet] Carter: lie down and chill for a bit. Wait listen what is that. Lily: I think one of those things is on the roof.

Creature :{ shrieks and an odd laugh} [Just then a creature plunges through the roof of the bus, and clutches Declan. It tries to pull him through the small hole created in the crash, but he gets stuck on a piece of metal jamming into his side. Blood pours out splashing downward on to lily and carter as the try to pull him back in. While Vanessa panics and starts the bus again and tries to move it. But it just goes deeper into the ground. The creature finally gives up and lets Declan go. He fall to the floor on bleeds out quickly] Lily: oh my god. Vanessa, give me the first aid case behind the seat. [Vanessa gets the first aid case] Vanessa: here. Lily: Declan, can you hear me. Declan?? Tucker: lily. Lily: Declan!! Carter: lily, he is dead and we will be too if you dont sush [Lily scoots away from Declan and cuddles with carter and Vanessa.] Vanessa: im out of ideas. Carter: you guys have to run. Lily: what? Carter: Ill distract some if not most of them by driving this bus away and you hid until then and run for it. Vanessa. It wont budge. And besides, Right now we need to let Tuckers leg rest and we need sleep. Tucker: now, its fine. Im gunna die anyways. Ill go with carter. [Its now Monday. Around noon and they all have their positions taken. Carter start to drive away and after a few seconds all of the creatures were

gone after the bus. So the girls took off running. About halfway to the main road, a Cadillac pulled on to the dirt path and came to a hult at the girls. It was Joyce. The gas station clerk.] Joyce: get in!! Vanessa: why and how did you find us??! {They enter the car} Joyce: Ive been getting framed for the murders around here. If I do some good everyone will see im not responsible. Did they get all your friends? Lily: most. But we can still save carter and tucker. They drove a rusted short bus down the road to help us leave. Can you get em? Joyce: Ill sure try. But no promises. Vanessa: so what are these things? Joyce: Their bayou creatures. I dont know where theyre from or how the hell they came about. But I dont like em. Never did. Only the people around here know about them. Lily: how do you live with them around here? Why not just leave? Joyce: These are my roots. Ive lived here all my life. I just blow em away with my boomstick {pulls out shotgun} Vanessa: Theres the bus!! Joyce: stay here girls, Ill find your friends. [Joyce gets out and starts to blow them away as she makes her way to the bus. She enters the bus for a moment and come out with Tucker and thats it. She runs to the locked driver side door and Vanessa doesnt get it open in time. Just then one of the larger creatures swoops down and gobbles up Joyce in a bite and a half. She drops Tucker and Vanessa pulls him in.] Lily: Tucker? Carter :{ runs up and pounds on window} unlock the door.

{Vanessa unlocks the door, gets carter in and shuts it just in time to stop an approaching creature.] Carter: who was that? Lily: that lady from the gas station. Carter: Where are the keys? Lily: she had them [Carter runs to find the keys. She had dropped them inside the bus. They speed down the road]

Vanessa: what happened?! Carter: as the bus got their last blow on the bus before it rammed into that tree, I jumped out and hid under the water until I saw the car pull up. And I limped over to it as fast I could. Tucker: and left me in there. Carter: You said you were going to die anyways. Tucker: Still, so did you. We had a plan. Shut up and let me drive. Vanessa: their still coming! Where are we even gunna go to escape them. We cant bring them to the city. Lily: were on the main road! Carter: check around for something to use against them. Vanessa: heres a flare gun. With seven flares. Lily: here.

[Lily busts out the back window of the car and loads the gun. Her first shot rid of two creatures. Her second shot took out at least four. The third shot back fired and blows up in her face.] Vanessa: {screams} fuck. Carter! I think it killed her?! Carter: can you count how many are left? Vanessa :{ mumbles} 1, 25.six. There are six. Lily: Declan! Vanessa: Whatoh damn, I cant lose you too. Breathe lily. Deep breaths. Shes hallucinating. What do we do? Carter: All we can do is drive. Tucker: Fuck, Im on fire! Vanessa: lilys.. Not breathing Carter: Shit. {Starts to beat Tuckers crotch} Tucker: {yells in pain} Vanessa: Hit the brakes!!! [On impact, Tucker flew out of the car and was impaled by a pointy tree branch and was killed instantly. Carter was caught on fire and knocked out, he burnt to death. Lily was dead before the crash. And Vanessa had her seat belt on and stumbled out of the car and ran as far as she could she made it to the gas station there where people inside] Vanessa :{ goes through the doors and barricades it with a magazine stand.} Customer 1: Are you okay lady?! Vanessa: the bayou creatures, their coming! Customer 2: What?? Youre bleeding. I dont think your well. Vanessa: Shut up, and get away from the windows and stay low.

Customer 2: excuse me!! [A creature hits the window and flies through the store, grabbing customer #1] Customer #2: Helen!!!!!! Vanessa: Shhhhh. {Holding her mouth} do you have a phone. Customer 1: now, theres a radio in the back room. [They go to the back room and signal a sheriff] Vanessa: hello, hello. We need a lot of help. We have two people at joyful noise gas station along city limits and there these thing trying to kill us. Send multiple units. Please hello?!! Sheriff Mullings: This is sheriff Mullings with the Georgia police department. I hear you loud and clear. Multiple units on route to you position. Now tell me more about these things, mam. Vanessa: well, there called bayou creatures and they fly and eat people and their killing my friends and theres about six or seven of them outside of the gas station. [Just then a creature flys through the skylight and grabs the stranger. Vanessa pulls her down along with the creature and beats it to death with nearby plastic baseball bat] Customer: thank you. {Hugs her} Vanessa: yeah, yeah. Sheriff Mullings: Hello? What was that miss is everyone ok?

Page 15 Vanessa: were fine for now. Can I get a time? These things arent gunna just go away.

Sheriff Mullings: a matter of minuets mam. [They go out to the store and quickly run to the freezer because more creatures await them in to store and fly through the skylight as the door shuts it locks] Vanessa: {screams and widens eyes] no!! No god damnit!!{Pulling and pushing at the door] Customer: {also pushing and pulling} was gunna die in here. Are you serious!! Vanessa: no no. Its okay. The police will be here soon and theyll find us. Customer: If they arent killed first. Vanessa: look! A crawl space {moves a crate and shelves} we can get out this way. [They go through the crawl space} Customer: Look, a car, goes to the car. [They get in the car]

Vanessa: Theres no keys, lets just Customer: No, here. {Hotwires car} Vanessa: Wow. How do you know how to do that? Customer: well [A creature rams the car, breaks the window and grabs the girl out of the car] Vanessa: Ahhh! {Gets down} [Vanessa later gets up slowly and looks around. Theres nothing in sight. She leaves the van and continues down the road. She passes out of heat exhaustion. Her body is then found by authorities.]

[4 hours later] Sheriff Mullings: I dont understand they used this radio to talk to us and three minutes later when we got here. Poof. gone.

[The dugout crawl space is found in the freezer.] News caster: in other news, 8 teenagers and 3 adults were found dead in a local swamp. No names have been released as a result of not being able to contact families due to being mauled so much that they are unrecognizable. The sheriff gave word about a bayou creature that killed most of them. One blacked out of hunger and suffocation. The swamp perimeter is sealed off while CEDA clears the area of other creatures. Well have more later on the story. In other news {fades out} One hour later Page 19 News caster: We have an update on the bodies found at crest marsh. One of the teenagers was identified as Vanessa McKinley. She was one of the lucky ones that were not mauled to death by the so called swamp creatures. These creatures are highly dangerous. The SWAT team is trying to keep them from running amuck and has advised that everyone stays in the basement of the home. You should also proceed to stay inside and lock the doors and windows. The creatures are getting loose. If you see one. You are to stay still and get to a hiding spot Camera man: Look out!! A creature comes into the shot an eats the news caster then flies behind the camera and knocks it over and the credits roll.]
