You are invited to join us for our special family conference / business meeting on Sunday, June 10 in the Gym. Come and enjoy sweet rolls, coffee and OJ beginning at 8:45 am in the Gym.

Pastor Jackson would like to thank Nancy Gardner, Tim Proctor, Rocky Carson, the Church Mission Committee, 2nd Special Finance Committee, and our Church Family for making the Killarney project a great success! We succeeded our goal and collected over 7,500 juice boxes to feed children on the weekends at Killarney Elementary.

High School Ministry

VBS Info Meeting

There will be an abbreviated Sunday School lesson for all adult classes starting at 9:00 am in the Gym. Then your brothers and sisters from various committees and task forces will be updating our church family in our final stages of debt freedom with some good news and great opportunities to move forward as a church family! After our Gym meeting we will have a regular worship service at 10:30 am in the Sanctuary. We thank God for all the wonderful things he has done in the past 18 months to bring us to this wonderful place in our churchs 99 year history. June 10 will be a wonderful day! We will look forward to seeing you there!

There will be an information meeting for all VBS workers on Sunday, June 3 at 5:00 pm in the Adult Choir Suite. Literature and music can be picked up at that time (or sooner by contacting Mary Peters.)

Summer Fun Days Trip #1 Legoland Few Additional Spots Open

Our first Summer Fun Day trip is June 14 to Legoland, ages Kindergarten 5th Grade (completed). Cost is $25.00, we will be leaving the church at 8:30 am and retuning at 5:00 pm. Seats are limited (30), Call Meghan in the Church Office at Ext. 211 to sign up. There are still a couple of additional spots open for Legoland. Call this week if you would like to add your child to this trip.

Cornerstone Pregnancy Center Needs Your Help

Summer Fun Day trip to Legoland for Kindergarten though 5th Grade.

The Cornerstone Pregnancy Center is collecting baby bottles that you can find in the church foyer area today. Just bring back your full or partly full donation that will be used to help women in crisis pregnancies and unborn babies.

If you know of any of our college students graduating since June of 2011, please let us know so we can include them in next weeks graduation recognition. Call Meghan or Joy in the church office with the information.

The Church Learning Tree is getting ready for summer time fun. Summer Camp starts June 4 and runs through August 16 for children who have completed K5 3rd grade. Hours of operation are from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. You may call The Church Learning Tree Office for more information at 407-628-1761. New Ladies Sunday School Study

Womens Ministry Planning For 2012-2013

Please join in the Activities Room by the kitchen Saturday, June 2 at 9:30 am to look at planning opportunities for 2012-2013. Coffee, juice and pastries will be provided. We need your ideas about how best to serve our church needs, community challenges and the women in our church family.

Join The Connection, our ladies S.S. class for our new study which started last week. Our new study is Walking by Faith (Lessons Learned in the Dark) by Jennifer Rothchild who lost her sight as a teenager. She relates her blindness to spiritual truths that will help us learn to trust even when we cannot see what God is doing. Join us at 9:00 am in Room 244.

VBS Extended Day sign up is now available. Sign your child or grandchild up this week! Time is 12:00 pm 5:00 pm. Cost is $20.00 an afternoon per child which includes a field trip and snack. The renovated houses on the Pennsylvania Avenue property are now for sale. Anyone having an interest in purchasing these houses should contact Gene Hammond, Second Special Finance Committee, at 407-628-3489. Our Pennsylvania house sale team leader Gene Hammond, the Second Special Finance Committee and Deacon Leadership need your continued prayers as the house is continuing to show. Visiting Youth Choir

The Youth Choir from First Baptist Sweetwater will present a full concert the night of June 10 in the Sanctuary as part of their summer tour.
