Limitations. The analyzer determines only those elements which have atomic number greater than 21. Precautions X-Ray fluorescence metal analyzer generates X-ray radiation, so unnecessary exposure to the radiation should be avoided. Check that infrared safety sensor should work properly before analysis. Use safety shield for small samples.

Procedure:
Turn the power key of analyzer to ON position. The yellow light indicator is switched on. Wait 1-2 minutes for the peltier cooler and X-rays tube to stabilize. Push the PDA power switch ON. From the Start menu tap, selectX-MET to start the program. Wait for warm-up time completion automatically. After appearing the measurement screen, name the sample to be measured, select the mode of operation, and define LOG file which saves all the measurement data, name and directory.

Modify the way of presenting the measurement and set the measurement time. Touch the nose of the analyzer to the sample and press the trigger. Result will be displayed after measuring time lapsed or when trigger is released( if Measuring time set to 0). Acceptance Criteria Acceptance is made according to the applicable code. Results and Records Chemical analysis test results are recorded on format no, CA01-01.
