It will be useful to the musician in the most various situations (for example to tune musical instrument, to find the key of the heard music, to sound lessons of the musical school, etc.). This pro gram in aggregate with a video projector will allow to explain effectively somet hing for the big audience of pupils of musical schools, colleges and conservator ies. The program allows to create and store a collection of the favourite timbres bas ed on possibilities of a midi-synthesizer of a sound card as file collection. Ea ch timbre can be set from one or several various on loudness and transposition t imbres (it can be multilayer and consist of 1...16 single voices). The YGS Virtual Piano in aggregate with the external midi-keyboard is like progr am sound module. In this new version you can play on PC keyboard and quickly tra nspose sound (Quick transposition is available in registered copy of program, bu t you can transpose sound in Menu -> Edit Voice). You can create new sound files (*.vpiano) or download them on homepage of YGS Virtual Piano (www.yellow-gold-s oft.com/virtual_piano.php). The program can be used free with little restrictions all the time (no trial per iod). In the future versions more difficult management of timbres (division of t he keyboard into zones, management of dynamic characteristics of various layers of a sound, etc.) is planned. Author of this program professional musician Murat Dzhusupov from Novosibirsk (Russia). HOW TO INSTALL 1. If you have installed old version of YGS Virtual Piano, please uninstall this old version before. Before uninstall it's recommended to create backups of all important files from "YGS Virtual Piano" program folder as uninstall will delete all program components because most users prefer complete uninstall. 2. Launch Setup.exe file, choose destination folder and other settings, press OK and the program will install. 3. To start "YGS Virtual Piano" use blue "YGS Virtual Piano" shortcut on the des ktop or go to the Start -> YGS Virtual Piano -> YGS Virtual Piano. 4. To uninstall "YGS Virtual Piano" go to Control panel -> Install and uninstall programs or go to the Start -> YGS Virtual Piano -> Uninstall YGS Virtual Piano

5. For support send mail to ygs.support@gmail.com ATTENTION! NON USB MIDI-KEYBOARD CAN NOT BE USED WITHOUT OPERATIVE MIDI IN (DISA BLED BY DEFAULT ON MOST OF MOTHERBOARDS). If starting the program you have a mes sage saying that it's impossible to use MIDI keyboard the most obvious reason is motherboard MIDI IN disabled (by default). USB MIDI KEYBOARD and USB MIDI PORT are more simple in use. In order to use a MIDI keyboard (NON USB) on board MIDI IN must be configured (a s recommended for ASUS P4PE motherboards). You have to restart your computer, pr ess Del to enter Bios Setup Utility. Go to Advanced-> I/O Device Configuration > On Board Midi I/O. Enable 'On Board Midi I/O' then Save and Exit Bios. After t his "YGS Virtual Piano" can work with midi-keyboards well. If necessary activate MPU-401 compatible MIDI-device in Control panel. Don't forget select your MIDI IN device in Menu -> MIDI Settings. ATTENTION! IN ORDER TO HEAR SOUNDS IN "YGS Virtual Piano" MAKE SURE THAT MIDI VO LUME CONTROL IN SYSTEM MIXER IS NOT IN THE LOWEST POSITON. All sounds are genera ted by the MIDI synthesizer of the sound card. Not to hurt organs of hearing bef ore pressing the virtual MIDI keyboard turn the sound volume regulator in system mixer in the lowest position and then pressing a key steadily turn the volume u p until you find a desirable position. YGS Virtual Piano files (*.vpiano) icons can be changed in more presentable view and you can open these files with double mouse click. When you open *.vpiano fi le for the first time select "Open with..." from context and select VirtualPiano .exe (usually in folder C:\Program Files\Yellow Gold Software\YGS Virtual Piano) and set option "Always use this program to open these files". ATTENTION! After closing of YGS Virtual Piano it is necessary to wait at least 1-2 seconds before anew to open other *.vpiano file. The program at closing keeps all options in V irtualPiano.vpset file, on what the small time interval is required. At opening of *.vpiano files from already started program no problems arise. It is possible to start more than one copies YGS Virtual Piano, and each copy will sound as yo u wish. But only one started copy of the program can work with the external MIDI keyboard (if you set "Use hardware MIDI keyboard" in Menu-> MIDI Settings).
