Have to & Have got to

Os verbos have to e have got to so comumente usados para expressar obrigaes e necessidades do locutor, ou obrigaes e necessidades impostas por regras sociais, ticas e morais, que independem de vontades e desejos pessoais. importante lembrar que:

Tanto have to quanto have got to se ligam ao verbo seguinte sempre com to;

Have to conjugado como verbo principal, enquanto have got to, como auxiliar (vide tabelas abaixo);

Have got to somente usado na forma afirmativa; na negativa e na interrogativa, use as formas de have to;

De modo geral, os dois verbos so sinnimos, mas no se usa have got to para falar de obrigaes ou necessidades habituais, freqentes.
