Here is the original grading scheme:

1. Journal writings / Peer dialogue 35%

2. Coevolution of a lesson plan 5%+5%+5% =15%

3. Co-teaching, video club, and moderated marking 15%

4. Math Jam 15%

5. Final reflection - in-class summative free writing task 20%

You have already completed Co-teaching, video club, and moderated marking. You need to complete the other components.

To complete your Journal writing:

 fill out the math anxiety survey (found on Moodle) and

 self-assess your journal. You many have your journal or your partner’s journal (or both). You
should have entries in both and so you will self asses based on what journal you have (or
choose).
 To self assess, you will indicate any days you missed class and write a short paragraph that
highlights your best entry and tell me why you think it is your best entry
o (this could be in terms of your learning, insights it may/could have provided to your
peers, the form of your entry or some other criteria that you have used). Again, this is
just a short paragraph (max 150 words).

You can hand in your journals to me on Aug 3 or Aug 10 (in class) or you can scan/(take pictures) and
upload them to Moodle. You can also drop off your journals to the main desk in Winters college and ask
them to place them in my mailbox. Or you can suggest other ways to hand in your journals.

Unfortunately, there is no way to complete Coevolution of a lesson plan. You have completed 10% and so I will weight this out
of 15%. Meaning that develop of lesson plan will be worth 7.5% and analyse student samples using criteria from the
achievement chart will be worth 7.5%. **If you did not complete one of those assignments (or feel that the new weighting is
penalizing you) you can write to me, keep the original weighting and complete an additional assignment for the 5%.***

To complete the Math Jam component,

 you will read the paper (posted on moodle) and fill out the survey. This survey is short and has
you identify the least clear idea(s) in Math Jams and the clearest idea(s) in Math Jams. You can
fill out the survey in point form. There is also a printable form of the two survey questions, to
have on hand, while you read the paper.

You will be completing the Final reflection online.

 This is still a short reflection (max 250 words) based on your experiences in the course. You will
be identifying what you learned the most from and what you think will influence your future
teaching practice the least.

***These tasks need to be completed by the end of the remediation period (Aug 20th)***
