INTRODUCTION
The project is aimed at developing a website that will provide its users a unique opportunity to find the best physician available near locality. India, in spite of being an IT hub has no such proper site that can solve this problem of finding the doctor. This website is aimed at providing a hustle free approach towards finding a doctor. Around 1 million people die due to medical errors every year.

MEDICATION ERROR STATISTICS

Conservatively, at least 1.5 million people per year are harmed by medications. Many medication mistakes are never reported. 100,000 people die each year as a result of medication errors. At least 400,000 drug-related injuries occur each year in hospitals or approximately one medication error per patient per day. These drug-related injuries result in at least $3.5 billion in extra medical costs. Another 800,000 drug-related injuries occur in long-term care settings, such as nursing homes. It is estimated that 51.5 million medication errors occur during the filling of 3 billion prescriptions each year. Approximately 530,000 medication errors occur just among Medicare recipients in outpatient clinics.

LOOPHOLES IN PRESENT SYSTEM

It is often difficult to find a good doctor in limited time. Sometimes, even after being referred to a good physician it becomes quite cumbersome to get an appointment. In many cases reference by a doctor to another becomes monitory oriented or commission based, thereby reducing the quality of treatment.

SOLUTION
After reading all these stats from the medical field we were inspired to try to solve these problems. If you look closely to the matter you will come to know that these deaths could have been prevented if the patients could receive the treatment under the proper doctor or under a proper medical care.

Therefore, we came up with the idea of creating a website that would fill the existing gap between patients and doctors. This website will have a very user friendly portal to help the people to easily navigate through. The search result is quite quick and accurate. The healthcare facilities and the doctors background will be checked by us before adding the doctor to the site.

CONCLUSION
The project that we are working on is not just for an academic purpose solely but through this project we want to solve the existing problem in the society of getting wrong medication due to lack of information about he doctor. This project is a fine attempt to remove the present system of mouth to mouth publicity of the doctor or the referral system.

 This will not just be beneficial for the patients but also will be a great boost for the good doctors as they will get what they deserve. The project will also provide the patients an option to find a good doctor in their locality instead of going out to a new place in search of doctor.

 The sites one more interesting feature is that it will save the patients from the trouble of going to the clinic and getting an appointment. They can easily get the appointment sitting in their homes by using the website that we Intend to create.
