Steps that must be taken, or activities that must be performed well, for a strategy to succeed.
An action plan is a specific series of steps taken to accomplish a specified goal. An action plan generally includes steps, milestones, measures of progress, responsibilities, assignments and a time line.

An Action Plan is a tool that can help you identify and achieve your goals. It acts as a guide to help you answer questions, make decisions and plans, take steps towards your goals, and keeps you on track.
