INTRODUCTION
SMART DISPLAY INDICATOR is design to resolve the problems for students and lecturers nowadays. Smart Display Indicator will showing the presence of a lecturer in their room by using the LED in the list names of lecturers at the ground floor of the building and can leave a message that will be display on LCD at the doors room. PIC16F877A will be the main component in this project that act as a input data for storage memory of the keypad and display the message on LCD as an output data. To leave a message, a keypad had been used that have their own memory to leave a short message as the message had been stored in specific button on keypad. This message is stored in the PIC by using the programming of the MICROC PRO. It will display on LCD 20x4 in front of the doors room. A switch will be put together with the transmitter and receiver that have a function to send the signal to light up the LED.

Execute programming in PIC16F877A

Push reset button to reset any message displayed before on LCD

LCD display HARAP MAAF Turn off the toggle switch and red LED light off

Press a number on keypad ( 1 7 ) that contain message

Leaving room - a user can press any button on keypad between 1-7 that had specific memory message before leave the room. After that, switch on the toggle and directly will light up the LED. Entering room - a user must press the reset button and it will reset the message that displayed on LCD. Nothing will be display after that and turn off the toggle and the LED will light off instantly.

CONCLUSION
From the project that we had done, we can conclude that our project need various aspect for the circuit to be fully completed. Our circuit need to be connect as it is designed and simulated. Misconnected any component will resulting changes at the output. Displaying the message and turn the LED on are very important because it is one of our main focus of this project. Besides, we as a student for the future of engineer have a desire want to create something that will bring full of benefits and ease peoples, something that simple and superb. This project if success, student can easily take a note or meet their lecturers and do not disturb their lecturers every time. This will give some privacy time to their lecturers and lecturers can take a rest at anytime if their do not feel so well at that day. This technology does not at the market yet so we try to create new technology based on our experience as a student at UITM Dungun. We hope this project will be useful to all of us, especially students.
