UBL and Heineken NV agreed to permit UBL brew and market the Heineken brand in India
Heineken brand likely to be launched in mid 2010

Heineken will be sold in India through the same UB network Heineken will use its global distribution system to market the kingfisher in overseas market

The deal will enable UBL to significantly expand sales of its kingfisher brand globally

Hero group subsidiary Hero Electric will soon set up a joint venture with Canada based battery maker Electrovaya It will be for the purpose of manufacturing lithium ion batteries for electric vehicles.

Will accelerate clean transportation as commercial reality Has the potential to replace the current domination of lead acid batteries Lithium ion batteries can be recharged up to 1800 times as compared to 300 times for lead acid batteries.

ONGC Videsh Limited has entered into a MoU with Sistema

To jointly acquire and develop oil and gas fields in Russia and other CIS countries

The MoU was inked in Moscow
