The attendance was very good for the Joint LCA-LMOGA Post Session
Meeting. Among those at the meeting were in back from left C.J. Blache,
Roedel Parsons; Jeff Copeskey, ExxonMobil; Brent Wood, Chevron and Lou
Buatt, DNR Assistant Secretary. In front is Scott Angelle, DNR Secretary &
Governor Jindal’s Legislative Liaison.
LMOGA Board Member Jim Hutchison took time to visit
with DNR Secretary Scott Angelle.
Several lawmakers were able to attend the Joint LCA-
LMOGA Post Session meeting including from left, Sen.
J.P. Morrell, Rep. Greg Cromer, Sen. Nick Gautreaux and
Sen. Danny Martiny.
LMOGA Board Member Dave Cagnolatti, ConocoPhillips,
(right) took advantage of the Post Session Meeting to
visit with Lou Buatt, Assistant Secretary, DNR, Coastal
Restoration and Management.
Dan Borne, left, President of the Louisiana Chemical
Association and Louisiana Senator John Smith were
among the many participants at the LCA-LMOGA
Post Session Meeting.
One of the highlights of the recent LCA-LMOGA Post Session
Meeting was the Legislative Panel. Lawmakers participating
in the panel include from left, Sen. John Smith, Rep. Greg
Cromer, Sen. J. P. Morrell, Sen. Nick Gautreaux, Rep. Joel
Robideaux, Sen. Danny Martiny, Sen. Mike Michot and Rep.
Kirk Talbot.
One of the benefits of the Joint LCA-LMOGA Post Session
Meeting is the opportunity to meet with people in a casual
setting. Among those taking an opportunity to visit were,

Martiny and LMOGA President Chris John.

of Natural Resources was one of the guest speakers at the
LCA-LMOGA Post Session Meeting. Standing with Sec.

LCA President Dan Borne, welcomes the audience to the
LCA-LMOGA Post Session Meeting in Point Clear, Alabama.
Jim Harris, President, Harris, DeVille and Associates
(HDA) provided an update on recent and future elections
during the Joint LCA-LMOGA Post Session Meeting.
Scott Angelle, Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Natural
Resources and Legislative Liaison for Gov. Bobby Jindal
delivered the keynote address at the Joint LCA-LMOGA Post
Session Meeting. During his remarks, Sec. Angelle discussed
the Haynesville Shale and Gov. Jindal’s Administration.
Lou Buatt, DNR Assistant Secretary for Coastal Restoration and
Management, discusses the coastal zone boundary in Louisiana
during the recent LCA-LMOGA Post Session Meeting.
Steve Crookshank, Senior Economist for the American
Petroleum Institute in Washington, DC, discusses the
details of the Cap and Trade legislation before Congress
an the LCA-LMOGA Post Session Meeting.
Earl Millet, Deputy Secretary of the LA Department
of Revenue discusses department programs that
are of interest to the industry. Millet was one of
several guest speakers at the LCA-LMOGA Joint
Post Session Meeting.
Greg Bowser, LCA Vice President, discusses local government
special taxing district and implications on Industrial Zones,
during the recent LCA-LMOGA Joint Post Session meeting.
