Some Common Noncount Nouns

Glossary; Dew : tiny drops of moisture, the grass wet with the dew Hail : frozen rain-drops falling from the sky
Sleet : falling snow or hail mixed with rain Smoke : visible vapour (or steam) with particles of carbon Smog : mixture of fog and smoke

Television Shopping Television shopping began in 1986. About 5% to 8% the American public now shops by television. Some popular shopping channels are the Home Shopping Network and QVC. Customers say that television shopping is easier than shopping in the store. How do they buy things? They make a phone call and charge the item to their credit card. And TV shopping channels are on late at night, so people can go shopping anytime.
Computer Shopping Is Computer shopping the way of the future? About 37% of American households now have personal computers. And shopping by computer (or shopping-on-line) is interesting to more people every day. Already, shoppers can use their computers to order many different product, flowers, food, Tshirts, and posters. And new on-line shopping services appear every day. Soon people may be able to shop for anything, anytime, anywhere in the world. (New Interchange: 19)

My uncle Dendy has three daughters. They are Nia, Mia, and Dania. My uncle is a lawyer. My uncle usually visits my grand parents once a month. My second uncle, Rendy, lives in Jakarta. He is not married. He is an employee in a bank. He usually visits his parents once in month. So, I have three cousins. They are Nia, Mia, ad Dania. I love my big family.
