INTRODUCTION: LEVELS OF EMOTIONAL MANAGEMENT LEVEL ONE: Being aware of emotions, understands its nature and consequences Being able to express emotions appropriately and control it effectively Being able to channel emotions so as to enhance relationships, decision makings and levels of satisfaction and happiness
LEVEL TWO: 1) Being able to understand the emotions of others, their modes of expression and reacting to these expressions appropriately 2) Being able to deal with both positive and negative emotions as expressed by others appropriately and effectively 3) Being able to negotiate emotional conflicts in interpersonal relationships so as to increase the capacity for productive interactions
