Content Standards
1.2 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to listen and respond appropriately in formal and informal situations for a variety of purposes. 4.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to enjoy and appreciate rhymes, poems and songs, through performance. 4.3 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to plan, organize and produce creative works for enjoyment.

Objectives
By the end of this lesson, pupils will:

a) Act out at least two out of three body movement showing directions when singing the song. b) Act out at least two out of three body movement showing prepositions when singing the song.
c) Answer at least 3 out of 5 questions correctly by circling the correct phrases showing directions.

Pupils enjoy looking at the teaching aids during the lesson.

Pupils active in participating in the singing. Even the quiet student sitting at the last row sings together too.

Weaknesses

Not fluent in speaking English


Speak Bahasa Melayu when I am anxious.
Eg: jadi, faham? How to improve: Pratice to speak English regularly to my friends.

Lack of teaching experiences


Poor classroom management
Dont know what I can do to control the classroom. Mostly pupils who sit in front participating the activities, those at the back seem to do their own work. How to improve: Learn from other teachers or friends who has effective ways to control their classroom.

Fail to deliver instructional language to pupils.

Didnt explain clearly when giving worksheet to the pupils. Pupils come to ask one by one. Should show and explain to them what they have to do. Guide the pupils to read the sentences aloud and do the exercise together.

Skip important steps

Too rush in teaching


Forget to make use of the arrows (teaching aid) to show the directions on the Big Map during the group activities.
