A. Monitoring and Evaluation Report

we all have the potential to develop mental health problems; regardless of age, gender, race and
social-economic status. Mental State of Teachers in the School Setting can greatly affect School
performance, most specially students learning process. It is best to ensure a Good Mental Health
to be able to function accordingly and provide quality and safe services to our students.
Good Practices Shared

- Meditation is a good way to relax and reset your emotion and be able to cope with stress.
- Listening to Music, conducting Outdoor Activities are good way of relieving Stress.
- A Good mental health is someone who can make meaningful contribution to the community and
realizes his/her full potential.

Challenges Shared
- How to avoid the cause of mental health
- it s very difficult to apply positive reinforcement to those student who are coming from a family
where they are being abuse or maltreated. approaching those type of student carelessly might
result to a negative impact to students.
- Helping students who experienced traumatizing experiences are quite still hard to manage from a
teacher like me who doesn’t have enough experiences in dealing such.

B. Lessons Learned and Insights or Realization

- in correcting student, we must always provide positive feedbacking/ reinforcement to our student
to help them gain confidence and learn their mistake without humiliating them or causing them
fear.
- Dealing with children is easier now through the discussion. Understanding where theu are
coming seem now to be the best step in knowing who they are and what they need.
- Using a learning - styles based teaching. because it can help teachers to implement different
strategies for the benefit of different learners
- Develop open communication. With this, they have someone to trust or to talk about their
feelings.

C. Main Points

Mental State of Teachers in the School Setting can greatly affect School performance, most
specially students learning process. It is best to ensure a Good Mental Health to be able to

which the deped has initiated like
Psychological first aid, online
mindfulness, mental health and
psychosocial support
- Develop open communication. With this, they
have someone to trust or to talk about their
feelings.

Guidance office to conduct seminars which
includes parents and student on how important
Mental Health to the Educational process of the
students.

D. Next Steps
- Provide activities which Encourage families/parents to have open communication with their
children aligned to the Learning competencies, objectives and outcomes.

- Conduct Psychological First Aid to Students, Parents and Teachers.
