Presentation and discussion of School Improvement Plan by Mr. Michael A. Lumajang, School Head of Talaba
Elementary School.

 Mr. Michael A. Lumajang started the discussion with Do. 44 s. 2015 Pursuant to Republic Act No. 9155 as
Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001, where, this policy aims to strengthen School Based Management
(SBM) by further devolving governance of education to schools, empowering school teams and personnel,
expanding community participation and involvement and making the delivery of education services to learners
more responsive, efficient and effective through an enhanced school planning and communication process.

 It was mentioned after the objectives and targets of the school. First, Access, where the general objective is to
strengthen children’s access to education. To increase the number of children enrolled in the school. Second,
Quality, where it’s objective is to improve the quality of education. To decrease the number of pupils in
frustration level and last, Governance, to strengthen the governance among stakeholders in the school and in
the community and to improve resource ratios.

 To strengthen the collaboration between the school, parents, and Barangay LGU, Mr. Lumajang asked the
Committee on Education and the General PTA President additional insights about the targets and objectives of
the school.

 It was also mentioned by Mr. Lumajang the opportunities and the treats for the external analysis, factors,
weaknesses and strength for the internal analysis and general objectives, specific objectives, programs, projects,
and activities for strategies that the school improvement plan be made up of strong collaboration of ideas,
reaching out to stakeholders, educating parents and conduct activities that will benefit us in the improvement of
our school. The support of the Barangay LGU and the parents will help us achieve the objectives that we are
aiming in our improvement plan, he added. Through this planning, our school, Talaba Elementary School will be
able to produce responsible and productive learners and members of the community.

 After the discussions and brainstorming of the school improvement, Mrs. Novie L. Paboreal gave her word of
thanks to the stakeholders, barangay officials, and SPG who attended the planning session.

 Closing remarks was given by Mrs. Raquel C. Batalla.

The undersigned would like to invite you for the planning and crafting of School Improvement Plan
(SIP) together with the PTA Officers and other stakeholders on May 8, 2023 (Monday) at exactly 8:00 a.m.
which to be held at Talaba Elementary School.

The School Improvement Plan (SIP) serves and provides learning opportunities to all the internal
and external stakeholders. The ultimate objective of the School Improvement Plan is to achieve the desired
educational outcomes through the enhancement of curriculum delivery – by competent, committed, and
caring teachers; by repeating a safe and nurturing environment of learning; and by increasing the
stakeholders’ participation in the entire school improvement process. The improvement process are
collaboratively planned and processed by the School – Community Planning Team (SPT).

The success of this activity will be most remembered and valued which only depend in your
precious hand. We highly acknowledge your willingness and whole – hearted support.
