Accomplishment Report for Youth Formation Program Learner Government

S.Y. 2022 – 2023

I. Introduction:

A Learner Government is an organization that empowers students to take ownership of their

learning experience and outcomes. It is a democratic system that gives the students voice,
encourages participation, and foster collaboration and teamwork. One of its main goals is to
promote diversity, equity and inclusion. Students from all backgrounds, ethnicities, abilities and
identities should have equal opportunities and be represented in the decision-making processes.
They should also advocate more resources to support disadvantaged students and address
systemic barriers to learning.

II. School Initiatives:

To achieve these goals and make an impact, Tagpopongan Elementary School conducted some
initiatives to make it realized.
1. Helped in maintaining school cleanliness
2. Participated BRIGADA-ESKWELA Activities like painting chairs and classroom
3. Assisted teachers during the conduct of school programs and activities such as Teachers
Month,
Buwan ng Wika, Reading Month, Career Guidance Week and other school activities.
4. Helped pupils who are slow in reading and mathematics (Peer-Tutoring)
5. Helped in disciplining misbehaved students

III. Outcome or Impact:

Throughout the school year, students become more active in participating the programs of school
especially in the extra-curricular activities. It also creates opportunities for them to showcase
their leadership skills, promote accountability and encourage student engagement.
IV. Sustainability and Future Directions:

To sustain the programs and activities for the best interest of learners, Tagpopongan Elementary
School will see to it that the said practices will continue until upcoming more years. We will
strive hard to make the program more active, efficient and influential. Students will have an
increased say in decision-making processes, which will lead to an education system that is more
student-centered and accommodating of personal interests and needs. However, achieving this
will require the full support and collaboration of all the stakeholders involved in the education
system.
