5th Parents Summit and Stakeholders’ Recognition


July 13, 2022

As part of the School Year-end 2021-2022, Mayapa Elementary School conducted its
5 Parents and Stakeholders’ Summit on the 13 th day of July 2022 (Wednesday) at exactly

8:30 in the morning. Parents, Teachers, and other guests from our barangay/ Stakeholders
were the ones who attended the said summit. The program started with the prayer led by Mrs.
Ailyn L. Padunan, followed by National Anthem conducted by Mrs. Nida F. de Lima and
sang by all the attendees. Mrs. Maricel G. Cubio gave her motivational and inspiring message
as part of her Welcome Address. Another encouraging message has been given by our
Barangay Chairman Hon. Flaviano C. Taniola.
Mr. Rey O. Borillo, principal of Mayapa Elementary School led the State of the
School Address. He emphasized the School Report Card focused on the 15 topics to be
discussed and clarified. The first one is the School Profile under this is the Enrollment where
it has 3445 on 2020, 3111 on 2021 and for this year it has 3075. (2) Health and Nutritional
Status, the numbers of learners by Health Status in this School Year are 2813 are being
classified as normal, 194 overweight and 68 are Obese. (3) Learners’ Materials where each
learner was given a Self-Learning Materials which they used in this academic year and the
school received 10 complete sets of Computers. (4) Teachers’ Professional Development
where the majority of teachers have attended seminars related to LAC, SBM and ICT. (5)
Funding Sources, he explains the Sources of School Funding of this School Year from
Canteen Funds, MOOE, and LGUs and NGOs.
(6) School Awards and Recognition, giving recognition to those students and teachers who
received an award from different level and category. (7) Performance Indicators- Access, the
numbers of drop-out or NLPA in this year was 22 highest number from the year 2020 and
2021. (8) Performance Indicators – Quality, it is about the percentage of learners who
completed the academic year in which most of the learners are being promoted to the next
grade. (9) Performance Indicators- Quality, it regards to the proficiency level of learners from
1st Quarter to 4th Quarter. (10) Performance Indicators-Governance, Mayapa Elementary
School are classified as Level II means Maturing based on the school-Based Management

Assessment Level. (11) Stakeholders Participation, Stakeholders have shown notable


participation in the numerous undertakings of the school, for this year the stakeholders’
attendance to school activities are 1328. (12) Learner Teacher Ratio, he explained the
numbers of learners under one adviser in each level. (13) Learner Classroom Ratio, he
indicated the number of learners in one classroom. (14) Projects, the Status of Continuous
Improvement project is 100 %. Lastly, Brigada Pagbasa Reading Result, in where it is
indicated that the numbers of previously Non-Reader from different level 75% which is 173
learners were successfully aided with day to day reading intervention. This State of the
School Address of Mr. Rey O. Borillo end up with his quote “With all the STRENGTHS that
we have, those are the reasons why we accomplished what was planned. The strong linkages
among the internal and external stakeholders, maximizing the resources from the DepEd and
local funds gave us the OPPORTUNITY to cater the physical and financial needs of the
school and of our clientele.
The WEAKNESSES addressed by all personnel to help our learners actively engage to
continue their studies amid the pandemic. Through the different learning delivery modality

and Mayapa ES teaching and non-teaching personnel are readying and looking forward for
an expanded implementation and towards the new normal, to overcome minimal THREATS,
to ensure that no learners will be left behind, as stated by the DepEd Secretary Leonor M.
Briones, “We will not give up on them. We will not give up on the needs of our learners. We
will do everything so that no one will be left behind” and SO DO WE!
The Continuous Improvement Program, Project MESMo-LDM v2, Project RECITE v2 and
Brigada Pagbasa, TD-Usap are the keys toward the progress and successes of our learners”.
The next phase of this summit are Recognition of Stakeholders and Teachers, for
the Stakeholders’ it is for all the individual, group or company are being recognized for their
sincere gratitude, compassionate commitment, and significant contributions to Mayapa
Elementary in the attainment of its vision, mission, and goals that aided in providing quality
education during these challenging times. For the Recognition of Teacher, teachers are being
recognized in which they are contributed to the development and nurturing of the knowledge,
attitudes, and competencies of teachers in terms of curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
Mr. Rey O. Borillo also gave a special award to those teachers who work hard and do their
duty beyond expectations. To formally end the 5th Parents – Stakeholders’ Summit Mrs.
Rowena B. Briones, the GPTA President gave her Closing Remarks. The Masters of
Ceremony in the event are Mrs. Berlyn U. Bitana and Mrs. Teodora M. Buergo.
