NARRATIVE REPORT ON HRPTA MEETING

S.Y. 2021-2022

The Homeroom Parent-Teacher Meeting of Grade 8 took place on

March 04, 2022 at exactly 9:00 am in the morning and ends at 10:30 am at
Grade 8 Donasco classroom. The said meeting was started off with a prayer
lead by Mrs. Elaine L. Balili, and followed by the singing of the national
anthem. The presider, Mrs. Helen P.Cuarteron, HRPTA president, gave her
short welcome message. The presentation of the agenda for the said meeting
was taken care of by the class adviser, Ms. Kathleen C. Dando. The agenda
are the following:

1. Learner’s Progress
2. Orientation on Face-to-Face classes
3. Policy on Anti-Bullying
4. SMEA
5. Teacher’s Portfolio (2nd Grading)
6. MOOE Utilization
7. GPP (Search for Best Gulayan sa Tahanan Implementor)
8. GPTA Concerns
9. Other Matters

The first agendum is all about Learner’s Progress which includes the
signing of Cards, announcement of Top Students and update of Learner’s
status. Parents were informed about their child/children’s performance in
school and their attendance on getting and returning of their modules.
Some of the issues that were raised are; some students don’t have a
quarterly grade in some subjects; there are students who failed to get and
return their modules/summative tests.
The second agendum is all about on the orientation on limited face-to-
face classes. The parents/guardians were informed on the guidelines and
policies to adhere on the implementation of limited face-to-face classes. The
parents gave their full support and promised to adhere with the policies for
the successful implementation of face-to-face classes.
The third agendum is about the policy on child protection and anti-
bullying. DepEd 40 s 2021 or the child protection policy was discussed to
the parents. The said policy promotes zero-tolerance policy for any act of
child abuse, exploitation, violence, discrimination, bullying and other related
offenses. They are given clear explanation of what is what is not bullying.

Also, information on how the school builds a positive school culture and
actively works to prevent bullying behaviors.
The fourth agendum is about SMEA which includes the report on
NLPA,4Ps and SARDO. It was discussed by the adviser to the parents, how a
student is classified as no longer participating in the learning process. It
was also pointed out that membership in 4P’s may be affected if the
concerned student is no longer active in getting his/her modules for
consecutive weeks.
The fifth agendum was all about Teacher’s Portfolio for the 2 nd Quarter.
The subtopics are; update on learners, WHLP, grades, MPS, Module
Printing, Crafting Summative test, Conducting Home Visitation and
preparing of SBM documents. These topics were discussed by the adviser to
the parents to let them know how their child/children are being graded and
parents are reminded to constantly guide their child/children in answering
their modules.
The sixth agendum is the presentation of MOOE Expenses for 2021.
Parents are given copies of MOOE utilization for year 2021 for them to look
at to promote transparency.
The seventh agendum is the search for Best Gulayan sa Tahanan.
Parents are encouraged to grow their own garden at home and the best of
them all will be given reward and recognition. The said event will take place
on June 2022. The said activity was given a positive response from the
parents guarantying their 100% support.
The last agendum is about GPTA Concerns. Teachers and parents both
agreed on supporting for the concreting of fence for School. Parents assured
to extend their support for the project by contributing financial support
worth P75.00 which is due on March 30, 2022.
For the last part, the vaccination status of the learners was opened up
by the adviser including the signing of Health Declaration Form. Some of the
concerns raised by the parents are the following; students that are not
vaccinated must not participate in the incoming limited face-to-face classes.;
some parents refuse to sign the health declaration form.
Summing up all the important discussion points of the meeting, the
following are the actions/agreements that are mutually agreed upon;
 Parents should constantly monitor their child/children in answering
their modules at home
 The teacher will conduct home visitation to the students.
 Constant communication with the students in the distribution and
retrieval of modules must be maintained

 Parents should and must supervise their child/children in answering

their modules. Referring to their weekly home learning plan must be
done before answering their weekly modules.
 Parents agreed on the presentation of MOOE expenses for
transparency.
 Parents gave their assurance to participate in the search for Best
Gulayan sa Tahanan Implementor.
 Parents agreed to contribute P75.00 for the concreting of fence for
School.
 Parents and teachers should and must encourage learners to get
vaccinated.
The meeting adjourned at 10:30 am.
