The long-awaited time has come. The first quarter ended quickly and it’s time to conduct a parent-
teacher conference. PTA conference/distribution of cards started with a short program in PCS gym,
Mrs. Revelyn L. Maniego, EdD meets the parents from grades four to six, in her welcome remarks she
discussed the grading system in this school year, she also discussed the difference of face to face
classes from blended learning, she also discussed other school matters, after that, all parents go in their
respective classrooms for s short meeting and distribution of cards,

Our meeting started at exactly 10:00 a.m., and we seek God’s guidance with a short prayer. The
first agenda is about the policy guidelines on classroom assessment for the K-to-12 basic education
program, I emphasized how Summative Tests, Performance Tasks, and Periodical tests affect the
grades of their children, and I reminded them that they should assist their children in their studies.

The next agenda was the health and safety protocol I encourage parents that their children should
bring alcohol and wear face masks, next agenda was about DRRM, and next was the school rules that
they should follow, in our next agenda I informed the parents that Arabic language and Islamic values
were alive at Pulilan Central School, Mrs. Racman conducted classes every Tuesday and Friday, next
agenda was about reading abilities of our pupils I explained that family reading was one of the best
ways to encourage their children to read every day, next agenda was about school financial report I
always include this in our meetings so that parents were aware of this report. The last agenda was
about the school feeding program.

Parents should guide and help their children study their lessons, especially difficult ones.
Approval of their child’s effort in studying will help them acquire regular study habits to learn. It is not
only the school that contributes learning to the child but also the parents. Having good study habits for
their child is important to achieve learning.

Some important issues were clarified and answered in this part. Proper support regarding the
pupil’s performance was offered by the parents.

At exactly 10:30, our conference successfully ended.
