100% of the liquid in the pump
head, regardless of discharge
pressure
Efficiency losses are negligible if
the viscosity of the pumped
liquid is greater than
approximately 500 cSt,
although some slippage will
occur on thinner liquids

Rotary Lobe Pump Principle
1. Inlet pressure transfers the fluid into
the void created by the diverging rotor
lobes
3. The converging lobes displaces fluid
into the discharge port creating a
pressure differential across the pump
head
2. As the lobes continue to
rotate, liquid is trapped within
the cavity between the lobes and
transported to the discharge side
of the pump

will require a pump of 0.8 Litres per Rev or larger.
As there will be some slip due to the 100 Cps
viscosity it is likely that the OL3/0081/10 @ 0.81
Lit/Rev will be too small.
Probable consideration would therefore be the
OL3/0108/07 at 1.08 Lit/Rev.
