TECHNOLOGY REFINEMENT &

MARKETING PROGRAMME
(TREMAP)

Technology Information, Forecasting
& Assessment Council (TIFAC)
SCENARIO
India has a huge pool of innovators
But there is big gap between an innovator and an
entrepreneur
As a result, many developed technologies / proto-
types fail to reach the market.
The main reasons are:
Proto-types not conforming to market
requirements
Market linkages are normally not available to the
individuals

TREMAP OBJECTIVE

To Facilitate Linkages of Developed Products
and Innovative Technologies with Market
Technology Commercialization Windows
under DST /DSIR
Technopreneur Promotion Programme (TePP Phase I & II)
Prototype development & self commercialization at pilot scale

National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development
Board (TBIs) Incubation support to entrepreneurs

SRIJAN Technology Commercialization

Technology Development Board Large scale commercialization
