What song/ Artist have chosen and
why ?
We have chosen Started from the bottom by Drake.
The track carries the meaning by showing the rappers struggle
in life. Also represents a success story witch is rare in rappers
because they usually just show their success.
Its unconventional and a rapper video portrayed as poor.
Also the colors changing throughout the video. So starting with
black and white and then developing to bright colors in the club.
This also represents the main concept of starting poor from the
bottom and then reaching the top.

What is the concept of your video ?
We are going to start with someone going through school trying
to get to the top. Then go to Ruairi who has already made it.
Scene one shows the black and white and then the video is the
development through color. Rags to riches.

Where will it take place and how will
it look ?
We are filming around Shiplake and some in Binfield
A multi million pound house in Gerrards cross. Representing
luxury and wealth. Symbolizing a rapper that has reached the
top.
A place in Knightsbridge, London. This also symbolizes wealth

Club in London

If there is a narrative, what will it
include ?
The whole narrative is showing someone who starts in poverty
and how he has nothing.
It then develops to showing him working up the ladder in life.
Then in the end showing how rich he has become. This is
showing the development of the artist starting poor then
becoming wealthy.
The representation of the black and white and then developing
into the color shows this symbolization of starting poor and
becoming rich.

Who is your target audience ? How do
you intend to attract them and address
them through the video
Our age range is very large. Could be aimed at kids aged 10-
18 who are in poverty. It could also be related by older people
aged 30-40 witch can relate to the situation who have made
something of their life.
We are representing the hip hop/ Rap community
Its motivational to people that are in poverty.
Shows life struggle, working hard and survival in life.
We will address them by showing Ruari in suits and loafers.
Where the other story will be showing someone in track suits
and showing him becoming more successful in life.
