Hello my name is Eliseo and

welcome to the definition of the

four found skills, in the chapter
3: writing, listening, speaking,
reading

First: writing.

First, there is that say, that

this skill it was not viewed as
a language skill to be taught
to learners, in the 1970s.
Only it used, according to
reading, as a support skill in
language learning to, for
example, practice
handwriting, write answers to
grammar and reading
exercises, and write dictation.

on the other hand, the writing is related with the

reading, by this reason in the 1980s it used in
classroom "expressive approach", where writers
expressed their feelings, and also helped them as
motivation for they used their creativity in each
students.

Other method that we teaches the last reading,

is about of the strategies used by teacher for a
understanding best about the writing on
English,: for example, as from the poetry to
prose, also talking about the content and the
planning process during composition, to writing
about the readings more precise, and adapting
writing style to the audience and context of
writing. This it can generate a best confidence in
the process of learning about to the writing in
the students.

Also we have to
reference, the role of the
research to writing on
English and the
strategies that we can
use to best writing. I go
to stand out one and is:
about, that error should
not be stigmatizing;
rather, it is often
systematic and
reasonable, occurring in
a period of
'interlanguage' in which
they are literally and
positively developmental
(Selinker 1992).

READING
I consider that the reading is related, or it
goes hand in hand with writing, because
depending of the writ text, depends our
interpretation of our comprehension.

first, as a point very

important on the reading is
literacy, according to last
reading, the literacy, Some
will be highly literate in a first
literacy; others may be
acquiring literacy through the
medium of English. But any
either the case, one of the
things more important are the
practice of the reading.

On the other hand, for a

understanding of reading
in a second language, first
we have that understand
the reading on (L1) for
understand the reading on
(L2).

one research of the reading in in the field of

cognitive psychology, is concerned with the
ability to decode words and the importance
that have the phonology in the reading. This
we help to have a good fluency and the ability
to process words automatically and rapidly
through of phonology in the reading.

SPEAKING
speaking is a of the
skill more
important in the
English language,
and I think that the
speaking is related
with the listening;
because to
speaking is
necessary listen
well for achieve a
good
pronunciation.

Speaking in an L2 has not

occupied a good position
through of the history, and
only in the last two decades it
has been important in the (L2),
using as main tool the
technologies new. e.g. The
tape-recording, used to
improve the pronunciation.
Also was used other important
approaches as 'exploitation'
and it is recommended the
practice in the speaking for to
help to memorize.

A of the skills more important and

that it gives good results is the
practice and the repetition: and the
same time it helps improve to the
pronunciation. researchers have
demonstrated that the repetition of
words, audios, it helps to speaking in
(L2).
something very important
in the speaking, is
considerate by Levelt
(1989) as helpful in the
learning of the (L2), four
fundamental elements that
are: conceptualization,
formulation, articulation
and self-monitoring

THE LISTENING

The listening is related with

the speaking and it is a
skill very important in the
process of learn a second
language for might
understand spoken
language.

An approach
very important
is the given by
anthropological
movement in
the stand out
them the
perception of
auditory
memory, as a
process for the
foreign
language
learning.

The movement (CLT)

began to view
listening as an
integral part of
communicative
competence, where
listening is became
in the tool main to
that the students
they can get
information helpful
for acquisition of the
second language.

Also the listening, includes Several factors

are activated in speech perception phonetic
quality, prosodic patterns, pausing and
speed of input.
