A terrible experience

A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
I had a terrible experience last summer. I went to Ica
with my friends because we wanted to visit La
Huacachina. (WHEN, WHERE, WHO, WHY?)
It takes about 4 hours to go to Ica, so I read a book
and listened to music. Before we went to La
Huacachina, we decided to eat because we were
hungry and tired. After we rested, we went to La
Huacachina to go sandboarding. It was fun, but I had
an accident. I broke my leg, so my friends took me to
the hospital. (WHAT HAPPENED EXACTLY?)
In the end, I had a cast, and the doctor told me to get
some rest. My friends and I decided to go back to
Lima because I couldnt go sandboarding anymore.
