Operation

Oscilloscope works on the principle


of the deflection of the electron
beam with the help of deflection
plates before it falls over the
phosphorescent screen.

Time/div and volt/div are the two knobs where the


observations are being taken.
In order to calculate the time period, frequency and
peak to peak voltage it is mandatory that we
should have the proper knowledge about its
functioning.
The wave form generated is to be noticed carefully
and all the observations are to be taken with care.
